Charlotte was fitted with hearing aids recently and her reaction on hearing her mother for the first time ever will make you want to cry.
The bond between a mother and her child is unique. A mother looks forward to her baby's laughter, their cry, their first word and so on. Her love for her child is unconditional and beyond limits. The video of a mother talking to her baby who was born deaf after being fitted with her first hearing aids will make you emotional.
According to Insider, Christy Keane, a photographer who owns a lifestyle blog called "The Blushing Bird" has two lovely children, Charlotte and Cameron. She posted an Instagram video of her baby girl Charlotte after being fitted with her first hearing aids. In the caption, Christy wrote," CHARLY HEARS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND HEARS ME SAY I LOVE YOU FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! (Watch till the end)And she's holding back happy tears and emotional as her mama. 😭😭😭 We had our miracle moment that I have been praying for when Char got her hearing aids today."
The hearing aids would not enable the infant to hear but would get her used to the different vibrations and stimulations. However, the two-month-old response to her mother's "I love you" was surprising. The video shows the infant looking just as emotional as her mother, as if she wanted to tell her mom the same. In the post, Christy went on to say how amazed she was at her baby girl's reactions. "We didn't think she would hear anything so this was more incredible than I can put into words. Her journey to implants and language development is off to an amazing start!" wrote the delighted mother.
The heartwarming video garnered 33.8K likes on Instagram. People who watched the video could not stop commenting on how sweet and heavenly it was. While one wrote, "Absolutely beautiful 💙," another wrote," omg I can't handle how sweet this is! <3."
Baby Charlotte was born into this world with a hearing disability. She was diagnosed with bilateral profound congenital hearing loss. The infant suffered from a profound congenital hearing loss that affected both her ears. However, the reason for her loss of hearing was not found. Though genetic reasons could be pointed out as a reason, baby Charlotte's parents were perfectly fine and also didn't have deafness in their family. The doctors could not find other non-genetic causes either for the birth defect.
The special video was watched over 363,081 times and it is an incredible example of a mother-baby bond. Baby Charlotte may have a disability but she is nothing less than perfect to her mother.
