The Duchess of Sussex has always presented herself as a stylish, elegant, and graceful member of the royal family. Her love for hats can be seen in all her outfits.
The royal family is known for its grandeur and the way they present themselves in the public. The women of the family are known to make a fashion statement with their tiara's, outfits and not to forget, hats!
Hats have been an accessory for the royal women for a long time now. You cannot help but notice the Queen's bold and beautiful hats. According to Reader's Digest, hats are essential and fall under the dress code of the royal family. Diana Mather, a senior tutor for The English Manner etiquette consultancy, told BBC that "Dress code etiquette states that women wear hats for formal events." She continued, "Up until the 1950s ladies were very seldom seen without a hat as it was not considered 'the thing' for ladies to show their hair in public. But all that has changed and hats are now reserved for more formal occasions."
Princess Diana wore many lovely hats in her time and made a style statement. Amongst the newest members of the royal family, Meghan Markle is known to rock different hats on various occasions.
