Valuables and furniture were stolen by "a crazy fan," as suspected by the sisters.
TLC reality show 1000 Lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton had her house robbed while she was in rehab undergoing weight-loss treatment.
The Slaton sisters are quite shaken from the incident. According to a source, "Amy found the break-in when she went to check up on her old home" while Tammy was away. "Amy sent photos to Slaton. Valuables were stolen and there were signs of forced entry."
Deputy Starkey reportedly told The Sun, "The burglary happened shortly after the Slaton sisters moved out. The burglar[s] must have seen the home was unoccupied and broke in." The suspect(s) behind the forced entrance has not been apprehended, according to Starkey, and the investigation is still underway.

The person(s) "kicked in the back door and stole [Tammy's] washer and dryer, as well as some furniture," the Union County deputy said. The suspect or suspects also broke into the neighboring home of the 35-year-old and stole their sink.
The sisters are speculating that the break-in was caused by "a crazy fan," and according to Slaton's friend Tammy "wants to sell the house." The 1,976 square foot Kentucky duplex owned by the Slaton sisters, which was featured in several seasons of 1000-Lb Sisters, is currently valued at $239,000.
Tammy, who has been facing serious health problems, will soon undergo life-saving surgery. While Tammy's surgery was originally scheduled for the end of June, it has been postponed to the end of July, per The Sun. Post-surgery, she will be in rehab for the entire month of August before she is allowed to return home.
According to her brother Chris, Tammy had shed 115 lbs. in just 30 days at a rehab facility in Ohio, PEOPLE reported earlier this year. In the finale of the third season of 1000 Lb. Sisters, Chris exclaimed, "I'm happy that she's ready to hop on this train and start rolling down the tracks."
The family had a scare on the first day of rehab when she had difficulty breathing and had to be put on a ventilator and in a medically induced coma. "The fact that that's my sister scared me. And I can't help her. The fact that she may never see her nephews, her nieces, ever again, scared me," her sister Amy said in an episode.
"They didn't know if she was going to make it through the night. Or make it through the next hour," Chris said. "And we stayed four days or so up there. And then the last day we was there, she woke up. And she kept telling us she loved us and wanted to go home."
After spending 3 weeks in the hospital Slaton decided to get things in order. "I'm not doing this for anybody but myself," Slaton said in an episode. "I've decided to put myself first. Take care of Tammy."
