The 1000-Lb Sisters star posted several photographs on Instagram on Saturday, May 6, while donning a large white hat and crimson lipstick. Despite not adding a message to the photo, she received a lot of positive feedback from followers on her health journey according to PEOPLE. Following her remarkable weight reduction, Tammy has increased her social media activity. Last week, the reality star went on a girls' night out with her friends and sister Amy Slaton. Amy shared Instagram pictures from the occasion that show Tammy without a wheelchair or walker.
People were appreciative of the progress made by Tammy as she shares her developments with a positive outlook. Netizens wished her the best and shared how Slaton’s getting back on track inspires them and motivates everyone to focus on their good health and well-being. The recent images posted by her showed her keenness to be interactive with her fans and well-wishers who have always been supportive of her tough journey. Sisters witnessed Tammy's metamorphosis when she was in the Ohio weight loss rehab center. In one episode, Tammy succeeded in losing the weight she needed to in order to be eligible for weight-loss surgery, going from 717 pounds to 534 pounds, much to her delight.
"When I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second. I'm like 14 lbs. under my goal weight. From over 700, that's a huge drop. I'm feeling thrilled, proud, excited — just all the emotions. I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment!" Tammy said during the February 7 episode of the reality show that shot her and her sister to fame.
In her sister's post where Tammy appears to be on an outing with Amy and friends, the Slaton sisters can be seen standing together while Tammy stands without needing any wheelchair or oxygen mask, which attracted positive comments.
"Seeing Tammy stand on her own is so heartwarming. Proud of y'all's progress ❤️" wrote one. Another person added, "Way to go Tammy !! No oxygen and walking on her own!!" as many viewers complimented Tammy on how attractive she looked in the comments of the post shared by sister Amy Halterman.
