"I come here to say goodbye to everyone. I will die shortly," were the last words of a teenager hours before her body was found. Not only did the message posted on social media contain details of her killers but also the exact location of where her body would be found.

It was revealed that 17-year-old Cristiane Carvalho Guimaraes was under a debt of $550 to local drug dealers, which was the reason she was murdered. Another post uploaded from Cristiane's account read, "They'll send the location so my body can be found." The next day another message from her account was posted that revealed where her body really was. However, the police believe that the message was sent by the killers themselves.

Along with the names of the killers and the location of her body, the post also mentioned the way the teen would be killed which was that she would be shot. But once the body was found, the reason for her death wasn't revealed. The Mirror reported that the post was signed "CV" at the end, which could stand for the criminal gang Comando Vermelho.

According to the outlet, the police were aware that Cristiane was missing on February 12, 2021. However, by the time they reached the location mentioned in the post the next day, the teen had already passed away. February 13 became Cristiane's last day on earth. She was killed in the municipality of Itapiranga in the state of Amazonas, Brazil.

Even though the CV signed at the end of Cristiane's post points to Comando Vermelho's involvement since the teen was in debt as well, officials believe that it was all a trick to mislead them from the real killer. The Sun reported that the police are assuming that even the message that reads "goodbye to everyone" was written by the killer.

Interestingly, two other deaths took place right after the teen's case came to light, which the police are assuming could be connected to her death. Lorival Fonseca Moraes and Antonio Monteiro dos Santos, the other two victims, were reportedly the brother and brother-in-law of one of the killers mentioned in Cristiane's post, as per The Mirror.

The police are saying that the other two victims were killed by the criminal gang, Comando Vermelho, and they have a good reason to believe so. They said that the group got worried about the exposure they were getting ever since their name was mentioned in the social media post. In order to calm the situation down a bit, they tried to kill the suspects in the post but ended up murdering their relatives instead.

They also believe that Cristiane had no drug-related debt, instead, her murder was a clear case of femicide. The investigation is ongoing.
