One couple had a shocking number of babies in a year and is paying their nannies massive amounts of money to look after them. According to The Sun, 23-year-old Kristina Ozturk and her 57-year-old millionaire businessman husband, Galip had 20 babies in a year through surrogates.

The duo, who spent about $195258 on surrogates, now spends $96,000 a year on 16 live-in nannies to care for their growing family.

Kristina, who is originally from Russia, was already a mother of one when she met her husband on her first abroad trip to Georgia. Soon after their union, the couple welcomed their first baby boy through surrogacy in March 2020. Having dreamed of a big family, the couple went on to have more children.

Speaking of their decision, Kristina stated, "My husband also dreamed about having a big, happy family. So after we met, we started to put our dream into action." She added, "Our romantic relationship has changed but then our whole lives have changed, not just the romantic part. Our surrogacy clinic are amazed but happy to help us with our dream of a big family."

Further, she added that her aim was to have the happiest family in the world.

With a large family, the couple has employed nannies to look after the kids. The nannies work on a rolling schedule of four days on and two days off. They live at the couple's mansion and have their own kitchens.

Breaking down the expenses involved other than the cost of nannies, Kristina stated, "It costs about $5,000-$6,000 per week for essentials for all the kids. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a bit less. The kids each have their own wardrobes, but sometimes they share clothes for photos."

Apparently, the family needs 20 large packages of nappies and 53 packs of baby formula every week.

Despite the extra helping hands, Kristina added that her schedule revolves around her kids and confirmed that they kept her busy.

"I’m with the kids all the time, doing all the things that mums normally do. The only difference is the amount of kids. Each day is different, from planning staff schedules to shopping for my family. I can tell you one thing - my days are never boring," said the mother of 21.

She even corroborated that she did not get as much sleep as she liked. "Not as much as I want, but that’s my choice to be a mum for my sweeties. I will sleep a lot in another life," said the mother.

She also claimed that she tries to give her attention to all the babies. "I'm doing my best. My favorite child is my husband - sometimes he is like one more kid. All our kids are the best children in the world, I love them equally to the moon and back."

Though her hands are full, Kristina is not ruling out the possibility of having more babies in the future. "I’m planning my pregnancy, but not straight away, because for now, I need to be close with my babies. It’s hard to be a mum to 21 kids when you're pregnant. We are not planning more surrogate babies in the near future," said the woman.

Meanwhile, Kristina also addressed people who criticized her and her husband for their decisions. She said, "To people who disagree with my choices, I say don’t have so many kids if you don’t want them, that’s your choice. Don’t use surrogacy if you don’t want, that’s your choice. But this is our life, and it's our choice."
