"You've got to keep moving forward through the day, but it's tough," her fiance shared.
A new mother died suddenly and tragically, two days after giving birth to a beautiful baby daughter. Her Texas community is now banding together to ensure that her family is supported in the aftermath of her death. Camylle Bowen-Ables, 29, was admitted to the hospital a week before her due date, her mother Amee Bowen shared, per PEOPLE.
"She was ready for it," Bowen said to NBC News of her daughter giving birth. "She was ready for her to come." But on March 23, shortly after Bowen-Ables gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Josephine by Cesarean section, she got medical complications that would change the family's life. "She ended up getting induced, and then there were just, a day later or so, complications. And everything changed," Bowen told the news outlet.

Though the family was overjoyed to be able to spend time with the infant, their happiness was fleeting. According to the NBC affiliate, Bowen-Ables "crashed" from the medical complications two days after giving birth, and tragically passed away on March 25th. "You've got to keep moving forward through the day, but it's tough. It is tough," her bereaved fiancé, Kyle Ables shared of how he's coping with the sudden loss.
"We wanted to make sure we did something for both Kyle and Jojo," Bowen-Ables's aunt, Shawnda Vance, told the outlet. The family has now set up a GoFundMe page to assist and support Ables, and their newborn daughter through this loss.
In this day that we remember what HE did for us, let’s not forget to give back to those suffering and those in need! 🙏https://t.co/y7hIBmK8Vq

Peyton Bowen, Bowen-Ables' younger brother, and a high school football player, tweeted about the fundraiser. "Hey everyone, Saturday morning my family and I lost my sister after she gave birth to my niece Josephine Louise," he wrote. "It's been a very hard time for everyone who has had a relationship with my sister Camylle."
"Camylle was a proud new mom, a loving fiancé, a daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, and best friend to everyone that had the privilege of knowing her," the GoFundMe page reads. "She was her brothers' biggest fan, her mom's best friend, and Kyle's soulmate and better half. She was overjoyed to become a mother and wife, in fact, that's all she's talked about for the last 9 months."

According to the website, the funds earned will be used to cover burial expenses as well as "future needs for Josephine and Kyle." As of April 13, the page had nearly $103,000 in donations.
"I've always said with kids, it takes a village. And with this, you just see how big with your relationships, with the kids' relationships, they have a huge village and you just didn't realize how big it was," Bowen told NBC DWF of the welcome outpouring of support.
If you see this, please help this family out.
