He posted a beautiful wedding photo of Courtney and Wesley and expressed excitement about their upcoming baby girl. Courtney and Wesley delightedly announced their pregnancy in March, filling Al's heart with even more joy. On March 15, Al couldn't contain his enthusiasm as he shared the happy news with his co-hosts on the 3rd hour of TODAY. “For this grandchild, I’m going to be the best grandpa ever because I’m going to do whatever I can to spoil this kid,” he said.
“I think in honor of my dad I’m going to try to go for Pop-Pop,” Al said describing his desired moniker as a grandfather, hoping to be called "Pop-Pop" in honor of his late father. The couple's baby is expected to arrive in July, heightening the anticipation and excitement within the Roker family.
Courtney, who works as a recipe developer and culinary content creator, is Al's daughter from his previous marriage to Alice Bell.
