Al Roker must indeed feel grateful to be back home spending the holidays with his family. The 68-year-old weatherman for the Today show joined his wife Deborah Roberts, 62, and their children Nick and Leila, as well as Roker's eldest daughter Courtney, 35, to celebrate Christmas on Sunday. Wesley Laga, Courtney's husband, who she married in 2021, also joined them. Roker posted an adorable Instagram snap of his family from their holiday celebration with the caption, "From our family to yours," adding the hashtag "#merrychristmas."

In lovely photos from the family's celebrations, Roker, who is recuperating at home after a recent hospitalization for some health concerns, sat at the table with his family while they all wore matching green Peanuts pajamas and had what appeared to be a breakfast spread.

The Snoopy and Woodstock prints on the pajamas went well with the family's red tablecloth and holiday decorations. The family's gifts were heaped up in the room across from Roker, who was grinning broadly as their rescue dog Pepper dozed off in the distance. Pepper could be seen sitting on their hardwood floor in identical jammies in a second shot that was posted.

Roker said to his morning show crew last week that having his three children get along peacefully is the nicest part of the holiday season, per Entertainment Tonight. "My favorite family tradition is not everybody fighting. That’s a great thing. If that happens — you can get your adult children together and their significant others and everything is fine? Win-win."

The father of three is also relieved that he no longer has to scour the shelves for the latest toy. "My kids — look, it's different now that they're older," Roker said. "Holiday shopping becomes much simpler. They're not looking for the hot toy or anything like that." He added, "No more getting up at 6 a.m. in the morning because the little ones are up. Now it's, 'Oh, we'll get up around 9 o'clock.' And that's just great," he concluded.

While at home with his wife and children last week, Roker also posted a series of Instagram pictures of himself decorating his Christmas tree. Roker was beaming in the pictures as he and his family decorated the tree and then posed for a family shot. He captioned the photo, "So thankful to be well enough to decorate the Roker Family #ChristmasTree."

The anchor was readmitted to the hospital earlier this month due to chronic health difficulties. He announced his return home via Instagram. He shared a picture of his family at the time, including his wife, daughter, and himself in the kitchen. Roker captioned the sentimental celebration, "Home! So incredibly grateful to family, friends, medical folks, @todayshow family, and all your thoughts and prayers."
