"You're the sun and I'm your moon.. pulling for each other forever and ever!" Holker wrote.
Allison Holker and Late Stephen "tWitch" Boss' family celebrated the couple's son's seventh birthday. This is Maddox's first birthday without his dad. The couple shares three children: daughters Weslie, 14, Zaia, 3, and son Maddox, now 7. Boss died by suicide at age 40 on December 13. Holker has since been focusing on her kids promising them that she would be beside them no matter what.

Three months after Boss's death, Holker penned a poignant tribute to Maddox Laurel Boss, on March 27, writing, "Happy 7th birthday my sweet sweet Maddox! Oh I love you so much and couldn't be more proud or grateful to be your mommy. I'm so proud of you!" The Dancing With the Stars professional called her son "brave, strong, endearing, loving, and full of joy." She added, "You have this beautiful passion for life that brings light into every room you walk (run, jump, fly) into. We had an incredible talk the other night and we talked about how powerful you are and that we share a forever bond… you're the sun and I'm your moon.. pulling for each other forever and ever! I love you and you deserve this perfect day celebrating you!"

Last week the mom-of-three reaffirmed her dedication and love for her children in a lengthy Instagram post. "My loves, we are stronger than you could ever imagine. And we will stand strong together as a unit, and find the courage to hold each other up," she began her post, alongside a family photo. "I will be here for you every step of the way through the highs and lows, the ups and the downs," Holker promised. "I will protect, and I will guide, I will be a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and I will have mom jokes ready for when you need a good laugh." She concluded her post with, "The love and light inside our hearts will still shine. I love you forever and always. Mommy."

Holker first met Boss through So You Think You Can Dance and they were married for nine years before his death. She tied the knot with The Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ in 2013. Shortly after his death in 2022, she shared a statement with TODAY where she noted her husband “lit up every room he stepped into.” For him, "family, friends, and community" meant the world and he believed in "leading with love and light.” She continued, “He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory.”
