Amy Roloff and Chris Marek got engaged in September 2019, and since then their fans have been waiting to know when they will tie the knot.
Little People Big World's Amy Roloff, 56, has been engaged to fiance Chris Marek, 56, since September 2019. Marek and Roloff were celebrating their dating anniversary when he decided to pop the question to her. Their fans have been waiting since their engagement to find out when Roloff will tie the knot. The couple wanted to get married at the end of 2021 but things might be happening sooner.
Roloff's wedding will be filmed for her family's hit TLC reality show, according to TVShowsace. The couple had financial reasons for delaying their wedding till the end of 2021, and fans expected them to postpone even further because of the pandemic. But, new social media posts and comments hint at an updated timeline of their wedding.
The 56-year-old mom shared an animated photo on her Instagram stories on March 1 which has a clue about the wedding that could be happening sooner, according to Monsters and Critics. In the photo, three margarita glasses are clinking together in what seems to be a "cheers” with the text reading, "Out w/the girls – Wedding planning Woohoo!"
Roloff and her girlfriends were probably at a potential wedding venue. However, in December 2020, Roloff had already given a hint about her wedding. She posted a photo of herself in front of a bridal boutique (Charlotte’s Weddings & More in Portland, Oregon), wearing a bride-to-be sash. She had captioned the post with, "What? I guess this is really happening." Usually, people pick the wedding gown some nine months prior so that they have enough time for alterations.
The reality TV show personality had dropped another hint in a special Valentine’s Day post. While they had initially planned to go on a trip to Idaho, it didn't work out because of the winter storm, which forced them to have a staycation instead. Roloff cooked a steak dinner and Marek's favorite desserts for February 14 instead.
Her fans also noticed something she said in her caption, which led them to believe that their wedding will definitely take place in 2021. Roloff said that this was the last Valentine's Day she'd spend "single." Their wedding might coincide with their current anniversary in September, according to TVShowsace. The reality TV star is also on a diet and exercise routine for her big day. However, she's not confirmed if she has found her perfect dress yet.
Whenever the wedding takes place, her fans will get a glimpse of it. Just like her twin sons Zack Roloff and Jeremy Roloff, she too will get married while TLC’s cameras roll.
However, she will not get married at Roloff Farms, where she no longer lives.
There have also been some issues between Roloff and her ex-husband, Matt, to whom she was married for 30 years. He said that he would attend her wedding if he's invited.
However, it is not known if she would invite him as she had accused him of cheating on her. In her book, A Little Me, she alleged that Matt had an extramarital affair with his current girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, who used to work at Roloff Farms as an employee. The Roloff matriarch claimed that her ex used to spend long hours at bars after work, and she saw messages, pictures, and other things exchanged between him and Chandler. Those messages were unlike that of two people in a professional relationship.
The Roloffs have lived out a large chunk of their lives in front of the camera, and even their divorce was filmed on the TLC show LPBW. During that time, fans saw the 56-year-old struggle with major life decisions, including moving out of the farm and selling her share of the family farm. In December 2020, the Roloffs' youngest son Jacob revealed that a former producer of the show had groomed him and abused him as a child.
