Amy and Matt Roloff started the Roloff farms 29 years ago and have kept it running while raising four kids, Zachary, 29, Jeremy, 29, Molly, 26, and Jacob, 23. They were married from 1987 to 2016. Three of their kids are average-sized while one of them is a little person like them. Their reality TV series Little People, Big World has been ongoing for 20 seasons and it captures the ups and downs in their lives. In these 20 seasons, the Roloff duo got divorced, three of their kids decided to stay away from the cameras, they welcomed grandkids and found different partners.

Through it all, their farm in Oregon was a constant, and Amy lived on the farm with her family. Last season, she decided that she was going to leave the Roloff farm and move on by selling her share of the land. It sparked some fears that there will no more Roloff Farms pumpkin season again but it got settled with a buyout from Matt. She also decided that to start a new life with fiance Chris Marek she needs to find a home with him outside. She got engaged to Marek in September 2019.

He proposed to her on the show and later told Us Weekly, "After it was over, I really regretted that the cameras were there because I didn’t like anyone else seeing it. I wasn’t expecting those waves of emotion to overtake me like that. I was sorry that there were other people that got to see that."

It took her a while to find the right house but in February 2020 she was finally "thrilled to see some light at the end of this long journey of moving, purging, packing and moving into my new house," as per GoodHouseKeeping.

Now, in season 20, on the May 5th episode, the entire family got together to take their annual family photo. This included Amy's fiance and Matt's girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. Amy had previously insinuated that he had cheated on her with Caryn while they were still married. While Matt denied the claims, the Roloff matriarch said that she was devastated during that time.

As per Us Weekly, while clicking the family photo, Matt, 58, says in the sneak peek, "It’s like herding cats to get everyone together but we get together and snap a family photo."

He confessed that the season "takes a toll" on him every year. "I’m really starting to asses how much physical energy I want to put into this. Everybody gets to be my age, late 50s, and you start to think about retirement," Matt said. "I mean the south side of the farm is safe, I’m gonna build over there and I’m probably gonna die on that side. But as far as the north side of the farm, that is up in the air, for sure."

In the episode, 55-year-old Amy admitted that there was a chance that this could be her last time working at the pumpkin farm. "I think how we decide on the future of the farm will dictate how involved I continue to be or not be," she says. "If Matt chooses to still continue on with pumpkin season, I’ll choose to be a part of it as best I can but by moving off the farm, just separation of family … I will always feel a disconnect of some sort."

Matt and Amy had been having problems but they seem to have worked out their issues a bit with Amy and Marek saying that they would be open to inviting Matt and Caryn for their summer 2021 wedding. "Coexisting with Amy has its ups and downs. Still living 500 feet apart. You know, there’s good days and bad days and we just take it day by day," Matt told PEOPLE in 2018.

The duo doesn't see eye-to-eye on many things and Amy said that "divorce changes things." "There’s just certain things that Matt goes overboard on," she had said about the wooden pirate ship he had made. Matt will "come up with a thought and then that thought runs away like a runaway train. And so Matt needs to be reigned in when it comes to some of these projects."

Now, it seems that they can no longer continue being business partners anymore. Little People, Big World airs on TLC Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
