Popstar Ariana Grande is 27 and this is her second engagement. She was previously with comedian Pete Davidson.
Everyone deserves a second chance at love. It takes courage to be vulnerable after having your heart broken. It might take us months and weeks to overcome the pain of a past relationship, but that just means that we're likely healing and getting ready to welcome a new love.
Popstar Ariana Grande, 27, has found love again and she's ready to settle down with her 25-year-old fiance Dalton Gomez. Grande announced on December 20, 2020, that she got engaged to her real estate tycoon boyfriend. The couple has been dating since January 2020, a source told People in March 2020. They were first seen kissing in a Northridge, California, bar in February.
A separate insider told People that the couple quarantined together at the singer’s Los Angeles home. "Ariana is staying at home with friends. She is very serious about self-distancing and has been with the same group of people for days," the insider said. "One of the people she is with right now is Dalton — they have been hanging out for a couple of months. Ariana doesn’t want to do another public relationship so she is trying to keep this one quiet, but she seems very happy with Dalton," they added.
The Stuck With U singer's last engagement didn't end well. Comedian Pete Davidson and she broke up in October 2018 after being together for a few months. They reportedly parted ways as their relationship was going too fast, as per Elite Daily.
Now, two years later, this is the first time she's decided to get serious with someone again. But, who is Dalton Gomez and how did they meet?
Firstly, he's not part of the entertainment industry, but a real estate agent. He works as a buyer's agent for the Aaron Kirman Group, a luxury real estate company in Los Angeles. According to the bio on his official profile on the business's website, Gomez "holds one of the largest rolodexes of A-list buyers" and is known for his "extensive knowledge in the fields of architecture and luxury estates."
Born and raised in Southern California, he used to live with his family in the San Bernardino area before moving to Los Angeles, according to E! News. The couple met when Gomez's boss helped the singer buy a $13.7-million Hollywood Hills mansion.
"Ariana was looking for a home outside of Los Angeles to be her getaway house, and her team found Dalton to help. When she saw him, she immediately thought he was cute and very good-looking, and she asked her team to set up an in-person meeting with him," the source told Us Weekly. "Ariana fell very hard for Dalton shortly after they met."
The iCarly actress "really, really likes" Gomez and is enjoying her new relationship. "Ariana sees something different in Dalton that she has never seen before in guys she has previously dated," a source told the outlet. "He is the type of guy she has been looking for. He’s very protective of her, will go out of his way for her and does little things that are chivalrous. Dalton will go above and beyond to meet her needs."
The Sam & Cat actress, who has previously dated Big Sean, the late Mac Miller, and Pete Davidson, never felt fulfilled in her past relationships. Her past lovers hadn't "met her needs in the same way Dalton does," says the source. "Her exes acted as though she was demanding and had crazy standards," they added.
The couple isolated together and got to know each other quickly, a source told E! News in March. "They've been spending a lot of one-on-one time at home," they added. Another source said, "She's a major homebody as it is, so staying in isn't a problem for her. Ariana will occasionally go for a drive and then come back home."
