The local media confirmed that baby Martin is now stable and is being treated at a local hospital.
A mother is her baby's protector from the time she conceives it. She's the giver who nurtures the little one from the time it's just a blip to when it takes the form of a human being. She is the one who endures endless nights and days of severe backaches as her body transforms to make space for the growing baby.
She's also the one who suffers extreme pain while giving birth which is equal to almost 20 bones getting fractured. It's true when they say, no one can take the place of a mother because she's the strongest creation of God, and now we have proof.
A tragic plane crash claimed the lives of a couple, Mayerly Diaz Rojas and husband Fabio Grandas. Their plane, HK 2335-G, met with an accident just hours after they left Santa Marta and were heading for Guaymaral. What's unbelievable is that their baby is the sole survivor of the crash.
It was a miracle, yes, but more than that it's his mother who has to be applauded. She was holding him in her arms when the crash took place and that's what saved the life of the innocent soul, reported The Mirror. However, it's tragic that the baby won't be able to be in the protective arms of his mother anymore.
Mayerly didn't let go of her son, Martin, even in the last moments of her life because that's what mothers do, they protect. Their child is above anything and they keep them safe no matter what. The miracle baby survived the dangerous crash because his mother used her body as a shield.
Baby Martin was found by the rescuers and taken to the hospital immediately for further checkup. According to the local media, he is said to be in stable condition right now and is being treated at the Fundacion Santa Fe de Bogota University Hospital.
Along with the parent, the baby's nanny, Nuris Maza, was also traveling. Unfortunately, the crash claimed her life as well. The family had been heading towards Guaymaral when the plane crash-landed in Ubate, Columbia, on Tuesday morning, October 13.
As per The Sun, the reason for the crash is still unknown but the aviation authority is on their feet and investigating why the crash happened and why the family had to endure such a tragic fate.
"According to initial information, the airplane had all of its technical documentation up to date," said the aviation authority in a statement. They revealed that it was the infant's father, Fabio, who had been piloting the light aircraft.
Conveying their condolences to the departed couple's family they further expressed their "solidarity with the families of the victims."
Giving some details about the boy, they said, “A baby, who was also traveling in the airplane, is being attended at this time in an assistance center."
What's more heartbreaking is, when the rescuers reached ground zero, Mayerly was still cradling her baby. The local media confirmed that the rescuers found the baby in his mother's arms as she had used her body to protect him from the impact of the crash.
We only hope that the baby survives this dark time because the world is beautiful and his mother would've wanted him to experience it.
