Vitoria Bueno, who previously performed on Das Supertalent Season 15 and is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil is chasing her dreams and inspiring others in the process. At just 17 years old she received the Golden Buzzer and finished second on the German version of America's Got Talent. The teen is following her passion for dancing despite difficulties and is showing the world that anything is possible if you have the heart for it and the dedication to make it a reality. Like anyone considered different, she suffered bullying at a young age and her mother Wanda was concerned about her well-being. In a February 2021 interview with Reuters, she said, “People would line up outside the house to see her. They would lift up her sleeves to look.” While the insensitivity hurt her mother greatly, Vitoria was unfazed.

The teen called her arms "simply a detail" and went on to say that she follows with her eyes and does not use her arms in any manner. In fact, dancing has helped her greatly as she got stronger and more flexible because of it. This has helped her with other tasks such as brushing her teeth to even picking items off the supermarket shelf with her feet. “There are things she can do with her feet that I can’t do with my hands,” said her stepfather, Jose Carlos Perreira.

When people watch her dance it's so mesmerizing to see that one might forget she dances without arms. “I don’t feel like I need them at all,” she added. According to the talented dancer, people with disabilities benefit from seeing her dance. “We are more than our disabilities, so we have to chase our dreams,” she said with a smile.

According to Sky News, when asked about what dancing means to her, the young ballerina said, "I feel a very strong connection with my body when I’m dancing. Whether it’s ballet, jazz, or tap dance, I’m completely in the moment, as if nothing else matters.’’ She also believes she deserves equal opportunities as any other dancer and wants to audition for the world's main dance companies. The young woman even has professional ballet dancers like Thiago Soares following her on social media.

"God is always putting people on my path to help me, family, friends and teachers and Thiago Soares. It's a dream come true for me," she added. When she met him she admitted she was nervous but also pointed out that it was the realization of her dreams coming true. She wants to keep dancing around the world and inspire people to make the art form more inclusive on all stages. What an inspiration!
