"Jen just adores Ben, and they both lift each other up and make each other feel so happy. It's really sweet to watch," a source said.
Some romantic ideas are everlasting. This Valentine's Day, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck inked a pair of matching tattoos that highlight their relationship to immortalize their love, per VOGUE. Lopez wrote "commitment" as the caption for a carousel on Instagram which included a selfie showing off her new tattoo. “Happy Valentine’s Day my love,” she added. Lopez also posted pictures of Affleck's tattoo which was a set of crossed and bound arrows with the letters "J" and "B" on either side. Their tattoos were coordinated rather than matching couple tattoos, even though the positioning on the side of the ribcage and fine line delicacy of the designs were identical. Each piece was artistically in line with the wearer.
The carousel post also includes a ton of happy selfies of the pair, including shots from their opulent wedding as well as their time spent together on a yacht. The post is a charming celebration of their relationship. Just a few days ago, Affleck and Lopez made waves with their adorable Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin', per Entertainment Tonight. The 50-year-old actor and filmmaker signed a contract with Dunkin' that was worth "several million dollars," a source previously told ET.
Affleck's collaboration with Dunkin' includes a financial contribution to his non-profit organization, the Eastern Congo Initiative, in addition to a salary. "Ben planned out the whole thing and wanted something like a hidden camera commercial," the source told ET at the time, with a second source adding, "Jen and Ben were so loving on set. You can really tell how special their connection is. Jen just adores Ben, and they both lift each other up and make each other feel so happy. It's really sweet to watch."
After announcing their engagement in April, Lopez and Affleck got married at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas just before midnight on July 16. Lopez admitted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she and Affleck nearly took a different path. "We were planning to get married in August in Savannah, the family was going to be there, everyone's going to be there and it was so stressful," Lopez said, adding a joke, "A month before, and I don't know if you guys know this, but 20 years ago we were supposed to get married."
"It kind of all fell apart back then and this time, I absolutely had a little PTSD and so I was like, 'Is this happening?'" said Lopez. "We were so happy, and of course, it was happening, but I just felt like the wedding was so stressful and one day Ben just says, 'F*** it, let's just go to Vegas and get married tonight.' I was just like, this is crazy, what are we doing?" added Lopez, who went on to reveal that Affleck handled everything, and reassured her he was "going to have everything set up."
Lopez added of the beautiful day, "It was the best day of our lives."
