The actor seems to be "very serious" about Armas if sources are to be believed. He only wants to keep her happy and smiling.
Here's the situation that we humans often find ourselves in when it comes to relationships. We fall in love with someone and take the next big step, marriage. While for some it works out and they grow old together, for others, it may not be the same and things just come to an end.
But that doesn't stop us from moving on. Our radars for finding the perfect one is always turned on even when we think that we're fine alone. And then one fine day, another person walks in through the doors we had closed temporarily and opens our hearts to brand new experiences. That's exactly what actor Ben Affleck is experiencing. The actor has found the person he loves spending time with and is also determined to provide the woman of his life with everything that she asks for.
Affleck and his girlfriend, actress Ana de Armas, met on the set of Deep Water in 2019 in which she played his wife. Now, after four months of dating, he's definitely spoiling his lover. According to a source who spoke exclusively to US Weekly, “Ben is so sweet to Ana and does everything he can to make her happy... She can say anything — lunch, trips, etc. and he will make it happen.”
The Argo star does not stop himself from making Armas' day even if it means traveling during the pandemic. The Knives Out actress could not celebrate her birthday this year or travel due to coronavirus, but Affleck turned into the caped crusader in real life and took her to the Joshua Tree National Park while ensuring her safety.
A source told Us Weekly, “Ben went over-the-top to make her happy and make her birthday with him be extremely special. Ana feels like the luckiest girl to be with him.” Another source added, “He worked hard to make her birthday both safe and memorable.” Armas too was so delighted by the outing that she took the opportunity to make their relationship official to the world.
Posting a series of nine pictures from the trip on Instagram, she captioned it, “Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and love! Cheers to another great year." Even though the caption didn't say much but 47-year-old Affleck could be seen hugging her which made things crystal clear. Reportedly, the Gone Girl actor treated the 32-year-old to chocolate cake with golden candles and a tiara that said "Happy Birthday." Affleck made sure that his girlfriend felt extra special with the celebration.
The couple has been openly showing their affection for each other all through the pandemic as they were photographed a number of times laughing and enjoying each other's company while walking their dogs.
They also took a trip to the actress's home town of Havana, Cuba, and Costa Rica after they finished filming Deep Water. It was their first trip together and they ended up quarantining together as well. Since they were quarantining in each other's company, they ended up celebrating Easter as well.
A source told People, “They seem to have a great time together. They order delivery food and groceries and only leave the house for walks around the neighborhood with their dogs. Ben looks incredibly happy. They are flirty and goofy. Ana always has a huge smile around him.”
Armas too has nothing ill to say about her beau, all she has are praises for the Pearl Harbour actor. In May, an insider exclusively spoke to Us Weekly and revealed that Armos loved the way Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner managed co-parenting. The source said that the Knock Knock actress “thinks Ben is such a sweet and nice guy” and she “admires how he juggles so much between work, his kids and co-parenting with [Jennifer Garner].”
Affleck and Garner share three kids, daughters Violet, 14, and Seraphina, 11, and son, Samuel, 8. The former couple split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. While Garner is "happy" to see Affleck move on, the Good Will Hunting actor wants his children to bond with Armas. An insider disclosed that the actor “splits his time [between Ana and his family] and, as always, the kids are the most important thing in his life” and added that Affleck “always makes sure he has time for [Ana] and that she is number one."
Back in June, The Daily Mail had reported Armas being a great hit with the actor's kids. In the pictures, Affleck's brood was seen carrying a life-size cut out of Armas while she could be seen laughing. In a hilarious turn of events, the kids left the cut-out outside the in the lawn of his mansion.
