Affleck was later spotted with a friend on a coffee run and continued to look grim. He wore a casual blue plaid shirt and faded jeans as he walked the streets of Santa Monica shortly after the video of him and his wife at the Grammys surfaced.

A source told ET that the reason Affleck was not his usual self was that he was tired. "Jen and Ben had a fun date night out at the Grammys, but they have both been very busy working on several projects, and Ben was feeling tired," the insider shared. "He wanted to go and support Jen, but he wasn't his usual self."

While the singer had a great time and wanted her husband to be as excited "she understood where he was coming from," the source added. "Jen knows Ben is a great husband and they still made sure to have a good night together." The Let's Get Loud singer also posted a video montage of the two at the Grammys captioning it, "Always the best time with my love, my husband 🤍."

According to HuffPost, Affleck's sad face has been turned into a meme several times since 2017. It started with an interview while promoting the film Batman vs. Superman where costar Henry Cavill answered a question while Affleck just seemed completely disconnected. Someone soundtracked the clip to Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence and made it go viral. Another instance included a time during the lockdown when the actor was struggling to pick up his daily Dunkin iced coffee delivery.

However, now the actor is proving he does have a sense of humor and is taking his love for Dunkin' to the Super Bowl. Dunkin's first Super Bowl commercial will star the 50-year-old star and also have a cameo from his wife, reports PEOPLE!

As for the memes, many experts wonder if people are getting too invested in celebrity's lives. Allison Hart, the clinical director and registered psychological associate at WellspaceSF shared, “People think they know more than they actually do about the celebrity, and where they act as if there are different social and moral rules for engagement with people who are by and large strangers not intimately in our lives.”  There's even a term for it: a “parasocial’ ― or one-sided psychological ― relationship is created when a person becomes attached to famous people and what happens in their lives.
