Christmas is around the corner and it's time to bring out the decorations to deck the halls of your home. There is snow all around and all you can do is snuggle comfortably inside your home with your family. If you are not feeling the cheer yet and need to inject some joy into your life, just stream some old and new Christmas movies. In this animated film, starring Tom Hanks, a young boy takes on an extraordinary journey to meet Santa Claus. The film is about the incredible journey during which he meets special people.

4. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation



 

Clark Griswold, played by Chevy Chase, can't wait to have a good Christmas but ends up having a bittersweet time instead. The movie has come to be known as a Christmas classic and one of the favorites of fans.

When singer Jack Frost, played by Michael Keaton, dies he leaves behind a son, Charlie. In an incredible turn of events, Charlie meets his father again, who's returned to him as a snowman and it's a race against time to save his spirit as he melts.

This Catherine O'Hara starring animated film reminiscent of Tim Burton's aesthetic style is about a being from Halloween Town who finds Christmas Town and falls in love with it. He gets so obsessive that he ends up abducting Santa Claus.

Based on the comic strip Peanuts created by Charles M. Schulz, in this 1965 animated television special, first of its kind, Charlie Brown finds himself depressed even though it's Christmas. Brown tries to direct a play but he is mocked by peers only to be told by Linus what Christmas means, which leads to a reunion of the Peanuts gang.

Starring Vanessa Hudgens and Emmanuelle Chriqui, a young high school science teacher fall in love when she finds her literal knight in shining armor, who is transported to the present day through magic. Their love traverses centuries and they still stay by each other's side.
