Beth Chapman’s Daughter Shares Heartbreaking Tribute to Her Mother | “Cried the Whole Time but It Was Totally Worth It”

The reality TV star, who was a bail bondswoman, passed away on June 26 in Hawaii, spending her last moments with her family.

The Chapman family has been mourning for the loss of their matriarch, Beth, who passed away on June 26 in Hawaii after struggling with throat cancer for years. Even in her final hours, her family had wanted to do the one thing for her that gives her a great amount of joy - doing her nails.

Even as she lay on her deathbed unconscious, they had her nails done. And now, her daughter, Cecily is honoring her mom with a similar gesture. The Dog the Bounty Hunter alumni shared a photo on Instagram of her hands with amazing nail art done by Beth Chapman's favorite nail artist, Danny Le, according to Popculture. Her gesture shows that those we love live on in us forever. By keeping their traditions going forward, we make sure that they are forever remembered, even if it is in a small way.

Cecily admitted that getting her nails done was difficult but her mother would have loved the tribute with her favorite form of body art.

"Cried the whole time but it was totally worth it iLy @nailsbydanny & @mrsdog4real," Cecily wrote, adding an angel emoji.

Cecily shared another post of her mother's hands with beautifully done nails. The post said, "My heart is so heavy 💔 she was so amazing, I was so lucky...."

The family will be hosting a memorial for her in Colorado on July 13 at the Heritage Christian Center 14401 E. Exposition Avenue Aurora. The doors will open at 1:00 pm and the service will start at 2:00 pm. A big turnout is expected for the memorial with fans turning up to say goodbye one final time to the tough woman they loved so dearly.

The family has been trying hard to keep her in their memories and sharing some of their favorite Beth moments with fans. Dog Chapman had shared a video recently in which Beth was singing and dancing with Cecily. Dog Chapman said that fans asked him what was something they did not know about her and that inspired him to share this video. She was singing a Bruno Mars song and having a great time with her daughter.

On June 26, Dog Chapman announced to his and his wife's fans that she left them for a better place. "It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side," he tweeted.

The reality TV star's funeral was held on July 1 on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii. Dog led the service with the traditional Hawaiian "oli" chant. Afterward, friends and family members paddled out into the ocean in canoes to bid her goodbye. She was surrounded by family when she passed away in peace. She had been placed in a medically-induced coma earlier and never gained consciousness.

She was a fighter and her will to live was too strong. She kept fighting for her life and waging a war against cancer. She had a lovely family to love her and the will to fight came from them, especially her husband.

"She did this completely her way. I mean, her way was to live," Duane told USA Today. "She fought so long. ... One of the last things she said was, 'This is a test to my faith.' She had faith and then that was it. There's things you go through when you're dying, like steps, like you do when you lose someone. You get mad at them and you go through all these steps. The last step when you're dying is to accept it. She said to me the other day, 'Honey, that last step? I ain't taking.'"
