"I'm very excited. We'd have to be. You know, you'd have to be a moron to do this four times if you didn't like it," Ryan Reynolds shared.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' family has welcomed its newest member! Although the 35-year-old Gossip Girl actress, and the Spirited 46-year-old actor, have not yet posted photos of their child, Lively uploaded a photograph on Super Bowl Sunday that showed she no longer had a baby bump. "Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023, been busy," she captioned her adorable Instagram post, which featured her with Reynolds' mother, Tammy. In the carousel, she included pictures of their Super Bowl dishes in the post as well.
The couple's newest member of the family joins their other children, 8-year-old James, 6-year-old Inez, and 3-year-old Betty, per PEOPLE. In an interview, Reynolds shared how excited the family is, sharing, "I'm very excited. We'd have to be. You know, you'd have to be a moron to do this four times if you didn't like it. It's gonna be nuts, but we're very excited."
Reynolds is surely beyond himself, as a known family man. In November, Lively shared behind-the-scenes tales about her husband's commitment to his craft before Reynolds collected the coveted American Cinematheque Award in Los Angeles, attending the event with his mom and wife, per PEOPLE. "This man, he has contributed so much to the world's most international happiness with his art, his heart, his philanthropy, his humor, his integrity, his unmatched work ethic, his self-deprecating levity, his hard-earned depths in his scripts," said the actress.
"And now I am his home, and our girls are his home," she said. "And just like that 19-year-old boy [who used to commute home to Canada], he races home, whether it's from across the globe or a meeting across the street, he is hard-wired to get home. If he came home from set not in his wardrobe, we would be very concerned," she added jokingly of her husband, sharing how devoted he is to his kids, "Soaked in mud, fake blood, real blood, prosthetic scars, superhero suits, tap shoes or clown makeup, Daddy always comes home,” she shared.
“That man races back to his real life like nothing I have ever seen, especially not by someone who is able to be so all-in in his work life,” she continued. “He’s able to somehow be everything to everyone all at once; he is the most present person you will ever meet. And yes he creates magic in his work, but man oh man does he create magic in his real life,” proud mama Lively shared, tearing up.
Reynolds was not far beyond, showering love upon his beautiful wife. In his speech, the actor also praised his beautiful wife, concluding on an extremely emotional note, saying, “Most importantly I get to spend my days working with my favorite collaborator of all, my wife Blake. You are the greatest ghostwriter in Hollywood history, you have literally authored me into this moment."
