The ever-so-strong couple never shy away from announcing their affection for each other and it restores our faith in love.
Ever since they have started dating, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have constantly been giving major relationship goals to their fans and admirers. The Sweet Escape star's 50th birthday was another such event when Shelton's adorable tweet for the love of his life made netizens go weak on their knees.
On October 3, Shelton tweeted a birthday message for Stefani. "Happy Birthday @gwenstefani!!!! I love you so much it’s actually stupid… And possibly illegal in the state of California," he wrote. Well, this is not the first time when one of them has done something so adorable for the other.

On Shelton's 43rd birthday in June, Stefani threw him an epic pizza party at her house and gifted him a custom welcome sign to put on display at his Oklahoma ranch, reports People. Also, Stefani’s sons Kingston, 13, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 5, wrote heartfelt birthday cards for him.
"Christmas, birthdays, any kind of holiday — they always sit down and take time to write a message and draw pictures or something," he said. "Those are the coolest, coolest things, you know? It's something I never experienced in my life. When they take time and actually make something, it's pretty cool," quotes People.
Another milestone of their relationship is soon approaching them. Next month, Shelton, 43 and Stefani, 50, will ring in their fourth year anniversary of being in a relationship. Shelton was once quoted saying that the four years with Stefani passed incredibly fast and it still seems new to him. The singers who first met on the reality TV series The Voice in 2014, have been going strong after their divorces from their respective partners.
"It's actually shocking that it has already been that long," Shelton told PEOPLE in June of their upcoming anniversary. "It's kind of a blur. It still feels like it's pretty new to me. I guess it is, relatively. Four years isn't forever, but man, it seems like it just happened in no time," he said.
It would not be wrong to say that both the stars have found the much-required stability and emotional security that one needs in a relationship at a certain phase in their lives. In an old interview with Cosmopolitan, the No Doubt singer had mentioned that she had to go through months and months of torture before she got divorced from Gavin Rossdale.
"Nobody except for my parents, the people involved, and whoever they told [know specifics]," the singer told the magazine at the time. "Nobody would believe it if I could really say what happened. I went through months and months of torture." Shelton's presence in her life has made her evidently happy and cheerful, after all, that's what love does to you!
Like Shelton, Stefani also does not shy away from social media PDA. Ahead of his birthday, she had posted a few intimate pictures of them and wrote an adorable caption alongside that, "Can't believe [you're] mine #soooooolucky!!!!" she wrote.
The love-birds are now back to being co-workers on The Voice. After Adam Levine's exit from the show, Stefani was asked to re-join and that has helped Shelton cope up with Levine's absence.
"He's never not been here, you know?" he said. "And it's just that guy that's just over there constantly just makin' you want to strangle him. And now he's gone and it sucks, to be honest with you. But havin' Gwen back, for me, makes it a lot more fun."
