In the 1800s, Chinese soldiers used to send smoke signals to warn their comrades 500 miles away from the Great Wall of China. Things have changed quite a lot from that time. Now we can virtually contact our friends and family, no matter where we are. That is how technology has changed the world and it's still evolving.
Films like Back To The Future gave us dreams of flying cars, hoverboards, and even robots accepting orders. Well, since we're on the topic of robots, let us tell you that the world is soon going to witness the most unique wedding in its history. A wedding between a man and a robot.
Yuri Tolochko, from Kazakhstan, has found the love of his life in a doll named Margo, who he met in a bar. The first time that the bodybuilder and actor met the robot, she was being attacked by another man. Yuri claims that he managed to save her and ever since then, they haven't left each other's side. Things have developed so much between the two that they have finally decided to tie the knot.
Yuri has vowed to marry Margo, who he thinks has been suffering from self-esteem issues, as per The Daily Star. He said that his love "began to develop a complex" ever since he shared their relationship status with the world. He said, "When I presented her photo to the world, there was a lot of criticism and she began to develop a complex so we decided to have plastic surgery."
Thankfully, the surgery has helped her. "She has changed a lot. At first, it was hard to accept but I got used to it later on. It was at a real clinic with real doctors," he added.
The two are very open about their relationship and share pictures on their individual profiles. Not only do they spend their time together, but they also enjoy their days outside and with their friends. The pictures are proof.
The unconventional couple had been invited to a Russian TV show, Comedy Club, but don't be deceived by the show's name because his Instagram followers take their relationship pretty seriously. Yuri shared the backstage images on his Instagram as well. According to the local media, they have been dating for 8 months and the bodybuilder now thinks it's time for him to cement their relationship.
To Yuri, Margo the doll is like any other human. In fact, they argue sometimes but marriage is not off the charts. He even got her a job as a waitress at a local bar but admits that she needs help walking. "She can't walk by herself," he said. He continued that his bride-to-be is a "tender soul inside" and loves Georgian cuisine. "Her favorite dish is khinkali," he added.
While both of them might be famous, there are still a few people out there who think their relationship is not true. One of the Twitter users wrote, "I feel sorry for these men because they are clearly incapable of having an intimate relationship with an actual human being. They really need to go see a psychologist." Someone else said that steroids might have fried his brains.

However, one pointed out that Yuri's love for his doll is actually a condition. The user wrote, "Agalmatophilia, it's a real thing. And whilst I don't understand it, I do acknowledge and respect that it is real for them."

The wedding, planned for March 2020, has unfortunately been postponed, all thanks to the pandemic, reported The Georgia Straight. Yuri broke the news on in Instagram page saying, "Dear friends, our wedding has been postponed due to self-isolation. As soon as the mandatory quarantine is lifted, we will plan the wedding within a few days."
He assured everyone that the change in plans has not affected them, and that they are "determined and our mood is good." In case anyone was sad for them, Yuri shared a video of him having a peaceful time with his bride-to be, writing, "P.S. So that you are not sad, I offer a beautiful video, shot while riding a tuk-tuk on the island of Ko Samet [in Thailand]. Enjoy it!"
