Bradley Cooper walked the red carpet of the 2022 Academy Awards with someone special in tow! The actor hit Sunday's red carpet with his mom, Gloria Campano, according to Entertainment Tonight.
The mother and son duo looked amazing and elegant as they posed for photos. Cooper sported a black tuxedo and bow tie, and Campano opted for a black gown with lace detail, which she paired with a sparkly jacket and diamond jewelry.
This is not the first time Campano has been a part of the coveted award function, she accompanied him in 2019, too. That year, the duo was joined by Cooper's then-girlfriend, Irina Shayk, with whom he shares a 5-year-old daughter, Lea.
Back in 2013, while speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Cooper opened up about the relationship he shares with his mom. The interview came two years after he moved in with his parents before his father, Charles, died after a long battle with lung cancer.

"My family is very close, and my dad dying was brutal for all of us. It was a schism, and its aftershock has not stopped. And we need each other," he said at the time. "So here we are… it's not like I live in a compound and she's in the guesthouse. No, she's in the next room. But here's the thing: she's a cool chick. We can hang, and she can roll with the punches."
The Grammy Award winner considers himself lucky for being able to constantly be there with his father during his last moments. "I was in a very lucky position because I was able to put everything on hold in all aspects of my life and completely focus on taking care of him," the actor said at the launch of the Parker Foundation's Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, according to TODAY.
Seeing his father breathe his last while he was wrapped up in his arms, opened Cooper's eyes to the realities the life. For him, that moment is something he continues to cherish and calls one of the biggest gifts that his father has given him. Charles passed away two weeks after Cooper's film The Hangover II came to an end. He talks about the last moments of his father, who he called his "best friend", with sheer fondness and gratitude.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, according to USA Today, he said, "It was everything. It was the biggest gift he gave me – the second biggest gift. [The first was] having me and bringing me into this life and [then] him allowing me to be witness to his passing was equally as huge. It really honestly felt like – he was cradled, his head was right here – and when he took the last breath I honestly felt like it went into me, and I've never seen anything the same since."
But, even if someone is no longer with you physically, you don't really forget what they mean to you. "My dad works his way into my life every day. Luckily, thank God, I still dream about him. He comes into my dreams," he told NPR. He also added, "I cherish them. I love when he’s in my dreams. In the beginning, he was very sick in my dreams, and now in my dreams he’s healthy."
