When you marry someone, you not only accept them as your partner but also sign up to build a family with them. While married couples do look forward to having a wonderful family and making a little paradise of their own, it can't be denied that nurturing a family could be quite the task. However, when you are with the right partner they will try their best to be a good parent and help you enjoy every moment as a parent.

Bruce Willis and Emma Heming are hands-on parents whose world essentially revolves around their children. When it comes to making their kids happy they are just as emotional and enthusiastic as any other parents. But there was this one time when the long-term couple walked the extra mile to make their kids happy and express to each other how much they are involved in the marriage; as partners and parents.

The Die Hard actor and the model renewed their vows and got remarried to commemorate their 10th anniversary in March 2019. This not only shows that they are head-over-heels in love with each other even after a decade, but it was also a gesture to gift their children the opportunity to see their parents celebrate their love for each other.

“It was so much fun having our two young daughters there,” Heming, 40, told US Weekly. “It was really for them, to be able to be flower girls, for them to be a part of something that feels kind of monumental,” she explained. “Ten years felt like a big deal and something fun to celebrate,” she added.

While Heming is a very responsible and fun young mom, she admitted that Willis is also an on-the-go father, who does what it takes to make their family time the best that they could live. “I like that he likes to have fun. He’s the one out there making snowmen, sledding and swimming," she said of Willis. "He’s fun and active, and I am too — I take them places — but he’s the rough and tumble dad. He doesn’t know how to discipline and that’s fine. I’ve developed that look — the one my mom gave me when I was getting out of hand. They’re wrapped around their daddy’s finger and I’m totally fine with it.”

She went on to explain that she and her two daughters with Willis have a great camaraderie with his and Demi Moore's (Willis' ex-wife) daughters and that's a very fortunate thing to have in a family. “My stepkids are incredible and great big sisters to their little sisters," she revealed. "When I first met Bruce, his youngest daughter, Tallulah, was 12 and now she’s 25. Rumer is 30. Obviously, now they’re women and I can have these incredible conversations with them. Those relationships have really evolved over time. It’s not always picture perfect and easy, but no family is, but for the most part, it’s pretty golden and I’m lucky to have them in my life.”

The fact that both Willis and Heming are having fun being parents and making the best of the time that they spend together as family shows that marriages are about teamwork and also friendship. It is important to set the right example for your kids because who better to show them the value of love than their own parents.
