Emma Heming Willis has been spending time with the blended family during the lockdown along with Willis' ex Demi Moore.
The pandemic came as a surprise to everyone and ruined many plans across the glove, including weddings or birthdays. Seeing the fight put up by doctors and how not many are making it through the hospitals, many have chosen to celebrate their special days alone or with their loved ones. If there is anything we have learned, it is that each day is precious. Emma Heming Willis seems to know this well and chose to celebrate her birthday with her cherished blended family.
Heming, who turned 42 on June 18, celebrated her milestone with Bruce Willis, her husband, her and his kids, and his former wife, Demi Moore.
She shared some pictures of the happy moments, including the cake and family in party hats, with the caption: "It really was a happy birthday for me." The family has been isolating at their Idaho Ranch. While Heming and her daughters Evelyn and Mabe joined later, Willis and Moore had been isolating together with their three daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. While it might seem odd for many that the ex-spouses are spending time together, this family knows how to respect each other and create a healthy space for all the kids to feel like they belong. All three of the adults decided to put their kids first and it shows in how well the kids have adapted to the situation.
Scout Willis, recently appeared on Dopey podcast and said, “It’s been really funny to have both of my parents in the house where they raised us, which has been really cute," reported People. “It’s some divine timing too, of getting this much time to hang out with them, " she added.
Willis had been dreading that he might miss Evelyn's sixth birthday due to the lockdown but after four weeks of separation, the family finally celebrated her birthday, reported Mirror UK. Hemming posted a video on her Instagram page where the Moores and the other kids can be seen cheering the youngest one as she rode her bicycle.
Heming celebrated her birthday with the family after Evelyn and shared a happy picture of them. Willis, Heming, the kids, and Moore can be seen having a good time. Though Willis and Moore are no longer together, they have succeeded in setting an exceptional example for co-parenting.
The Sixth Sense star and Heming celebrated Father's Day together fishing with the girls on June 21.
Heming, who has been active on social media during the lockdown, shared a picture of Mabel and Willis sharing a father and daughter moment. In the picture captioned, "We love and adore him this much. Happy Father’s Day to one of the best 🥰," Mabel can be seen kissing her father on the nose. The devoted father looks absolutely gleeful for this gift of spending time with his family and kids. Always seen as the tough cool man in movies, these moments reveal what an adorable dad he is who melts when his kids dote on him.
Founder of skincare cosmetics range CocoBaba, Hemming too is expressive about her emotions. She posted a special message for her mother, Zorina, on Mother's Day. She wrote, "I'm simply missing my mom so much this Mother’s Day and every day as she’s across the pond in Europe. It will be the best day ever when we can finally be reunited again."
On the island of Malta, Hemming was born to Zorina and an English father. Since the parents divorced when she was quite young, Heming was raised by her single mom and soon moved to North London, according to Moms.com. She finished her high school from Southern California.
In 1991, Heming won The British Elle Supermodel at just 16-years-old, when her mother signed her up for the competition. Thus began her successful modeling career. In 2001, she shifted her focus to acting. The Comebacks (2007), Perfect Stranger (2007), and Red 2 (2013) are few of her best movies.
She met Willis couple met at the gym in 2007. In March 2009, the former model tied the knot with Willis in Turks and Caicos Island, after 15 months of dating. They have sailed through many ups and downs with grace and chosen to be private when necessary and also go public to clear the airs.
The cosmetic range she started is made especially for new mothers. The entrepreneur shared a picture of herself and her daughters wearing masks to promote a cause on Instagram. "We completed our virtual 5k for @roomtogroworg! We walked because we believe that every family should have the support and resources they need to unlock their family’s full potential. Thank you @roomtogroworg for providing that service," she said.
