Evelyn recently emulated her father and his "masterful mic-drop-one-liners" perfectly.
Bruce Willis' wife, Emma Heming Willis, thinks their youngest child is just like the actor! The 44-year-old model is the mother of Willis' two youngest daughters: Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 8. In a new Instagram post, she revealed that her husband would always say, "He just can't get out of his own way." According to the mom-of-two, her youngest daughter recently emulated her father and his "masterful mic-drop-one-liners" perfectly. Emma believes, Evelyn, echoed her father's sentiments and wanted Emma to get out of her head and be kinder to herself. Setting scenes from her solo outing to Taylor Swift's song Anti-Hero, she wrote, "Hi! I'm actually the problem 👋🏽."
"Bruce and his masterful mic-drop-one-liners. He would say, 'He just can't get out of his own way.' I never really understood what it meant until it hit me in the face the other day," she shared. "It’s me. I can’t get out of my own way. I plan, organize, look after everyone and I still rarely make time for me," Emma explained. It's been a challenging time for the family as they navigate how to give Willis the best life possible after his dementia diagnosis. Emma has now taken the role of her husband's full-time caregiver. She continued in her post, "The kicker came from Evelyn a few days ago when she said, 'Mom, you need to get out and touch the grass.' Spoken like her father's child."

According to Parade, the video she posted shows Emma trying to turn things around and soak up some fresh air and give herself some self-love too. Wearing a bright-colored hat during the outing, she reminded others to, "Make time."
"I knew what she meant," she continued about her youngest's advice. "I’m wound so tight that she sees it, they all feel it. How is that serving anyone. Today I made time to do something I used to love doing—a 30-minute hike and it made all difference." Emma has admitted that her husband's diagnosis has left her heartbroken and every day she struggles with grief. However, her daughter reminded her that caretaking a loved one should also include taking care of one's self. "They are giving me the permission, almost begging me to make time for myself and I need to shhhh, listen and just go 💙" she concluded her post.
The Die Hard star has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and his family said sharing that his condition has worsened since they first announced the news of his aphasia diagnosis last year.
