Bruce Willis, 68, was photographed with his hands protectively around one of his young daughters as they enjoyed the theme park ride.
Bruce Willis, the 68-year-old star who retired from acting and was later diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, delighted fans with his cheerful smile while riding Splash Mountain ride at Disneyland. The Instagram video, shared by his wife Emma Heming on June 1, captured the heartwarming moment as the couple, along with their children, enjoyed a visit to the beloved theme park. However, it is not known exactly when the video was shot.
Fans were left in awe of Willis' protectiveness as a father. Bruce, 68, was photographed riding the Splash Mountain ride at the theme park with one of their two children. He was seen putting one of his hands protectively around his daughter seated beside him. Heming, 44, recorded the fun ride on her phone while sitting on the log ride, in front of her husband, and their daughter Mabel, 11, who were sitting close behind, per PEOPLE. As the former Hollywood star placed his left arm in front of his child to protect her from the splash, she exclaimed, "Here we go!"

As the ride falls into the splash, the actor is heard saying "Smile." He then adds to the little girl, "You better watch out, I think we are gonna go again," the father kindly warned Mabel as he laughed and dabbed a few drops of sweat from his face.
In addition, the 44-year-old model posted a picture of the same ride with Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29, Bruce's three daughters whom he shares with his ex-wife Demi Moore. Heming wrote in the caption, "You bet this family will be back for more fun and laughs when you reopen as Tiana Bayou! Thanks for all the memories Splash Mountain."

The video comes months after the family's announcement of Bruce Willis' diagnosis of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). Emma has been very proactive in caring for her husband as he deals with this condition, but recently, Bruce's daughter also moved everyone to tears with a sweet gesture. "So I have to tell you this story, and I'm going to try and do it without crying," began Heming Willis, 44, in a video shared on her Instagram. "Because when Evelyn told me this story, I was an absolute puddle."
It seems in her free time, Evelyn went on to research random facts about FTD and found that people with the condition tend to get dehydrated. "Now, that's not funny, but it's kind of funny," she continued. "And she really is her father's child because these two love some random facts. So I said to her, 'Evelyn, we will always make sure daddy has a bottle of water in hand. Thank you for letting me know. But that is the most loving and compassionate thing that you can do is to be curious and educate yourself on your dad's disease.'"
