A man fatally shot multiple rounds at his wife in front of their two children after a heated argument at dinner. Romier Narag shot his wife Frances Kendra Lucero several times just outside their home on March 6. Narag pulled out a 9-millimeter handgun and shot Lucero as she ran toward their house, per PEOPLE. Murder and endangering children are the charges brought against Narag. He is currently being held in the San Mateo County Jail.
A GoFundMe campaign that aims to raise funds to help cover the family's funeral costs described the mom as a "beautiful mother, daughter, sister, and friend who touched countless lives of those around her." The fundraiser reads, "Frances dedicated her life to her children and always spread the love she had to share. She was the most genuine, thoughtful, loyal and ambitious woman we've all been blessed to know."
The fundraiser describes Frances as that friend who you could always depend upon. "Frances was that friend that would help you celebrate good times and provide nothing but support during the bad times," the campaign read.
Two toddlers, ages 3 and 4, are left behind by Frances. "We are currently asking for a donation of 30k to help cover the cost of Frances' memorial services as well as any extra assistance we can give to help her family survive this hard time," the campaign shares.
The family, per the fundraiser, is "devastated by Frances' unexpected loss," adding that they "were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service." The fundraiser added, "We want to give Frances the memorial she truly deserves, honor her memory, and say our last goodbyes."

Many people left condolences under the fundraiser, expressing love for the deceased mom. "Me and Frances worked together and she became the big sister I never had. She always knew how to put a smile on my face when I was going [through] it. She was such a positive and ambitious wom[a]n and I admired that [about] her so much. Having her always in my prayers," Alexandra Guzman, a colleague of Frances wrote.
Isabel Nava, another colleague wrote, "My condolences to your family. You did not deserve to die like that. I will always keep your babies in my prayers. Working with you was so much fun! I will forever cherish our talks about our babies. RIP Frances."
Her sister, Francine, took to Facebook to write a moving tribute to the mom. "I wish I could just hug you one more time. Get one more conversation with you. I will forever be blessed with being able to call myself Frances Kendra's little sister," she wrote of her sister.
