Love does not have a definition, yet somehow all of us know that it is a beautiful thing without which life seems incomplete. Actually, like any other beautiful thing, it's us who can make it more beautiful by nurturing it or let ourselves be deprived of it by not caring for it enough and caring for other things too much.

Leonardo Di Caprio's girlfriend, model Camila Morrone has made her choice! Despite the 23-year age gap, she's not letting the external noises ruin her beautiful relationship with the love of her life. She recently opened up about their unconventional relationship and quashed all criticism once and for all.

DiCaprio and Morrone were first rumored to be dating in January 2018, reports ELLE. By July 2019, an insider told PEOPLE that they are "pretty serious" about each other and this is not a fleeting moment of attraction.

“They seem pretty serious,” the insider told the outlet. “It’s definitely not a casual relationship. Camila spends a lot of time at his house.” Before that or even after, neither of them had made any public statements about their relationship but they were intermittently seen together; sometimes also holding hands in public.

However, in December 2019, 22-year-old Morrone decided to stop all the wagging tongues and address the elephant in the room - their age gap! The Mickey and the Bear actress confessed that their age gap does not bother her and it should not bother other people as well, reports PEOPLE.

“There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps,” Morrone, 22, told the Los Angeles Times about dating DiCaprio, 45. She added, “I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.” Having said that, the model turned actress has a very mature take on people being inquisitive about their relationship. She says that she understands why people are curious adding "I probably would be curious about it, too."

But she also believes that she should start getting noticed for her work and her talent. “I think more and more now that people are seeing the film, I’m slowly getting an identity outside of that,” she said. “Which is frustrating, because I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you’re dating.”

She added, “I understand the association, but I’m confident that will continue to slip away and be less of a conversation.” The couple was first linked together in January 2018 during an outing in Aspen, Colorado. Ever since then, DiCaprio and Morrone have been spotted all over the world, confirms PEOPLE.

Later, the pair started getting noticed as a couple. They were photographed holding hands in New York City after grabbing lunch together. The much talked about Hollywood couple was also spotted riding bikes around the city together. The rumors started to seem real when they attended Coachella together earlier this year, and later, at the Cannes Film Festival where DiCaprio debuted his Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.
