In 2021, observant fans noticed Baptista had started following Evans which led to speculations that they were somehow linked.
Chris Evans is having a really romantic Valentine's Day. The actor, 41, posted a photo montage of himself and his partner Alba Baptista on his Instagram Stories on February 14, per PEOPLE. The collage featured images of the two of them embracing PDA while hiking and traveling, featuring the actor's dog Dodger as well. Baptista, 25, was shown getting acquainted with a classic Nintendo game in the next Instagram Story. "I introduced her to Mario Bros 3," Evans wrote on top of the video, which showed his girlfriend exclaiming while playing the game. "(She hates this video but I LOVE it)," he added.
In 2021, observant fans noticed that Baptista had started following Evans and several of his family members on Instagram, which led them to believe that the Marvel actor and the Warrior Nun actress were somehow linked. When the two were seen holding hands in Central Park in November 2022, the dating rumors got fueled even more. Despite the fact that The Avengers: Endgame actor has dated a number of actresses in the past, including Jessica Biel and Jenny Slate, he may be planning to settle down soon. A source told ET in November that Evans and Baptista had been dating for more than a year. "They are very in love and their relationship is serious," the source said. "Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore Alba."
“Chris and Alba have gotten serious,” a source also revealed to Us Weekly, “This is the most committed anyone can remember him being in a very long time, if not ever.” The insider further added, “They spend most of their time at his place in Massachusetts and love the quiet life there, surrounded by nature and away from the spotlight. Chris was very open he wanted to take his time before settling down.”
The Massachusetts native has been very open about wanting a commitment and wanting children previously. In a recent interview, he shared he was “laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with,” to Shonda Rhimes' Shondaland in July 2022. “I mean, look — I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it. But in terms of — even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into,” he said. “Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with. Yes, so maybe it’s that,” he added.
It seems he's found it, after all!
