"I just think we're more comfortable with ourselves and our parenting style and...we're just more comfortable being parents now," Legend said earlier.
Chrissy Teigen is relishing all the pleasures motherhood brings, including gorgeous family pictures! On March 1, the mom-of-three shared a picture-perfect photo of her family, which included her husband John Legend and all three of their children on her Instagram profile. The adorable photo showed 6-year-old Luna Simone holding her 6-week-old sister Esti Maxine in her arms and leaning into her father as the family of five sprawled out on a sofa. Miles Theodore, the couple's 4-year-old son held on to mom Teigen as he sat on the opposite side, per PEOPLE. "Next goal - all of us AND all the animals (poodle, frenchie, something I dunno terrier, basset hound, two bunnies and bearded dragon, prob something else by the time this loads)," Teigen, 37, jokingly wrote on the Instagram caption of their ambitious next shot of the full household.
Legend, 44, was bundled up next to his spouse and sported a neon-pink Gucci sweatshirt, while Teigen appeared at ease in a black sports bra and gray leggings, with her hair, pulled back and no makeup. Meanwhile, Miles wore a blue tie-dyed T-shirt with coordinated pants and Luna was dressed in pink like her father. Baby Esti was wrapped in a wearable comforter. The couple has been very excited since welcoming their third child and posted a lot of adorable shots of the kids.
On February 24, while attending the Jake Arnold for Crate & Barrel Launch Party in Los Angeles, Legend expressed his respect for Teigen and his children. On the carpet, he told PEOPLE that his wife's recovery from giving birth to Esti has amazed him. "There's still a lot of recovery, but she's doing great with it," Legend said. "She's so smart and strong and women go through a lot to bring life into the world and I'm always in awe of her for that," the loving husband appreciated her.
"[It's] very exciting," added the EGOT winner of his fuller family. "I was just saying my kids are doing so well. My older kids are doing so well with her and [it] just fills the house up with more love. I just think we're more comfortable with ourselves and our parenting style and I think we're just more comfortable being parents now," he continued about being a dad of three. "So dare I say, it's easier," the beaming new father added.
The R&B singer continued by saying that he had reduced his workload for 2023 and that his wife of almost ten years would probably prefer if he did so even more. "I'm still working, but less work and I'm not touring this year, but just doing occasional shows," he told PEOPLE. "And I'm not doing The Voice this season, but coming back later. So it's kind of a moderately reduced schedule. Chrissy probably wishes it was a little more reduced, but this is reducing my workload this year," the singer shared.
