John Legend and Chrissy Teigen were all smiles as they stepped out for a stroll arm in arm during an outing in West Hollywood on Wednesday, February 8. The couple was seen after Teigen's decision to miss this year's Grammy Awards and stay home with her newborn baby. The couple's four-year-old son Miles was also spotted at the outing. Teigen wore a comfy gray cardigan and a pair of hip blue ripped jeans with her hair half tied up and styled in loose waves. Her husband kept it cool and casual with a black and yellow sweatshirt, black pants and matching sneakers.
The former model, 37, shared a sweet snap with her baby just a few days ago explaining why she wasn't at the Grammys. The cookbook author wrote, "happy grammy day!! had a dress fitting, looked around and realized ….what the hell am I trying to prove here. I cannot get up lol" Her husband, a 10-time Grammy winner, was once again nominated for three awards including Song of the Year, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for his collaborative song God Did with DJ Khaled. However Teigen decided to sit this one out and spend time tending to her newborn.
The 37-year-old gave birth to Esti Maxine Stephens on January 13 saying, "Our family could not be happier." The mother-of-three who is also a parent to son Miles Theodore, 4, and daughter Luna Simone, 6 noted how "Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love." In true Teigen fashion, she also pointed out that she is learning that "you still need diapers with a c-section!? We are in bliss," she continued. "Thank you for all the love and well wishes - we feel it all! X." The baby's arrival was extra special to the family; as the couple suffered a traumatic pregnancy loss two years ago in October 2020.
Teigen and Legend have been through so much together but continue to share a strong bond. The All of Me hitmaker dished out the one secret that keeps the spark in their relationship alive. It's all about "small" gestures of kindness. “Buy flowers every once in a while, let the person know that you’re still turned on by them,” PEOPLE magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2019 told The Times in 2018. “I’m more attracted to Chrissy now than I was 10 years ago. It’s more than just physical now. We’re a team. It makes me feel more connected to her than ever.”
