Little Women: LA star Christy McGinity recently shared the heartbreaking news of her newborn 2-weel-old daughter's demise. It wasn't long ago when McGinity had shared a video of her boyfriend signing the birth certificate of their daughter, Violet Eva Carazo. They were overjoyed throughout the journey and were keeping their fans updated about the big and welcome change in their lives.

But their joy did not last long, Violet who was born on March 6, passed away after only two weeks in the world. While they did not reveal the reason, they did share their deep sorrow over their loss. "It is with our deepest sorrow that we send our baby girl Violet Eva Carazo to play with the angels. We were able to spend two weeks with our sweet baby girl and for that, we are forever thankful," McGinity and her boyfriend Gonzalo Justo Carazo told PEOPLE exclusively in a statement about their daughter, who passed away March 20. The couple added, "Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated."

When she arrived on March 6, she measured 15 inches and weighed 3 lbs., 15 oz. For much of her life, the baby lived in the neonatal intensive care unit, where her father and mother celebrated the first week of her life. Carazo posted, "Happy One Week Old Birthday to our Baby Girl Violet. Thank U for making me a Dad and bringing me an entire new perspective during your first week of Life. We love you so much! #BabyGirl #1stTimeDad #7WeeksEarly #OverprotectiveDad #Daddysgirl #NICUBaby #Love #OneDayAtATime"

But the couple wasn't probably expecting to lose the greatest happiness of their lives to fade away so soon. No parents do! McGinity recently shared another post on her Instagram account thanking people for their prayers and support. She also revealed that it has been hard for them to go through this heartbreaking incident. She wrote, "Since our Sweet Violet passed away, it’s been so hard grieving over her. We have received so many heartfelt prayers, thoughts, flowers from all our friends and family. For that we are very thankful. 🙏🏼💜"

The 42-year-old star of the reality show on Lifetime is a mother of two, but the experience of becoming a mother never loses its charm. She has a daughter Autumn, and son Trenton, from her previous marriage with ex-husband Todd Gibel. She and her boyfriend, Carazo, had revealed in September last year that they were going to have a baby together.

In an Instagram post, she said, "I’m so excited that we are having a baby. What a big blessing. Good things come to those who wait. Our bundle of joy is coming April 2020." She shared the message with a photo of Carazo kissing her baby bump. The due date was in April however their baby came at 33 weeks. There have been cases where babies born this early have made it, however, the Carazo family wasn't so lucky.

A few days before Violet was born the mother-of-two did feel that something wasn't right and asked her supporters to pray for her. "She is not ready. Please pray that contractions stop," she wrote. Meanwhile, Carazo said, "Experiencing this entire journey has taught me a lot about life and has opened up my eyes on how magical this journey of becoming a first-time parent really is. I can’t wait to meet our baby girl!"

Her followers showed her some love and support on Instagram during this trying time. One person wrote, "You both are amazing. I hope you heal fast Christy." Another said, "Keeping y'all in prayers especially during this crazy messed up world right now!!!"

McGinity and Carazo had been looking forward to 2020 with excitement and their posts showed that. "Arms wrapped around me by the man of my dreams and my best friend. #2019 was crazy and I’m so excited to see what happens in #2020. Like @gonzogrape11 says to me #2020isouryearbaby," she said in one post.

However, the new year wasn't kind to them. Perhaps, the only ones who could fathom their pain right now are the families who have lost their loved ones. While we might not be able to reduce their pain but we could pray for the family and hope that they muster the courage to brave through this tough time!
