"I would do it all over again in a second," said Cindy Crawford who has been married to Rande Gerber since May, 1998.
Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Cindy took to Instagram to mark the milestone and posted a series of throwback photos from their "picture-perfect wedding" in 1998. One photo showcased the 57-year-old supermodel and Gerber cutting their wedding cake, while another featured their silhouettes dancing barefoot, with Gerber wearing an untucked white dress shirt and Crawford in an off-the-rack white lace Galliano minidress, accessorized with a Valentino shawl.
Crawford fondly recalled their wedding day in her caption, stating, "25 years ago today, Rande and I got married at the Ocean Club in the Bahamas. It was a picture-perfect wedding, all captured by @arthurelgort. We spent a beautiful weekend surrounded by family and friends celebrating our love for each other." Expressing her love and gratitude, Crawford added, "I would do it all over again in a second." She went on to "congratulate" themselves for reaching this milestone and expressed her gratitude for their blessings, especially their two children, Presley and Kaia Gerber, who have followed in their parent's footsteps and made their own names in the fashion industry, per PEOPLE.
Crawford also acknowledged that marriage has its ups and downs, "I also want to acknowledge that even with all the blessings, life is full of ups and downs and challenges. I’m proud of how we have navigated life together — looking to each other for strength and comfort. You have been my best friend and rock and I can’t imagine a life without you," she said. A local band called Baha Men who performed at their wedding went on to win a Grammy Award for their hit song Who Let the Dogs Out in 2000.
About 90 guests attended the private beach wedding, enjoying a catered menu that included seafood, pasta, and roast beef, with Crawford's favorite three-tiered carrot cake as the highlight according to the PEOPLE. The event was captured by renowned fashion photographer, Arthur Elgort, known for his work in the industry and father of actor Ansel Elgort. Reflecting on the occasion, floral designer Michelle White described it as, "the simplest wedding I've ever done."
Crawford and Gerber's 25-year marriage is a testament to their love and commitment to each other. As they celebrate this significant milestone, their enduring love and deep bond continue to inspire those around them.
