Cox was recently in the headlines for commenting on Prince Harry's claims that he took magic mushrooms at her home.
Courteney Cox was spotted with her long-term boyfriend Johnny McDaid as she stepped out for a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Los Angeles on Tuesday, February 28. At the moment, the Friends star is busy with promotions for her upcoming film, Scream VI. She was also recently in the headlines for commenting on Prince Harry's claims that he took magic mushrooms at her home.
Cox looked beautiful as she walked hand-in-hand with her rocker boyfriend. While on the stroll, the 58-year-old star sported a body-hugging fossil grey top which she paired with high-waisted blue jeans. She accessorized her stylish get-up with Celine's coveted bucket bag that she carried over her shoulder. Cox chose leather cowboy boots as her footwear and left her straight luscious hair loose during the day out.
McDaid, for his part, matched his girlfriend's vibe as he donned a collared blue t-shirt underneath a black leather jacket. He matched the upper half with grey jeans and black sneakers. Cox was also seen signing autographs for fans on her way to the studio. Cox, who is the only returning cast member in the newest installment of the Scream franchise, recently opened up about Prince Harry's claims that he ate mushroom chocolates at her LA home. Speaking to Variety, the actress called Harry "a really nice person," while adding, "He did stay here for a couple of days — probably two or three. I’m not saying there were mushrooms! I definitely wasn’t passing them out."
The actress also added that she has not read Harry's memoir Spare as of now. "I haven’t read the book. I do want to hear it because I’ve heard it’s really entertaining. But yes, it’s gotten back to me about it," she said. On February 27, Cox received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her sitcom. Cox's co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow were present to celebrate this achievement with her. “To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney, and she is responsible for all of that from the beginning,” Aniston said of Cox during the ceremony, as per CNN.
“When we met her she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you and you know I was really nervous to meet her because I was a huge fan.” Kudro added that Cox’s influence “really set us up to become one of the closest, most loving and supportive casts in, I’ll say, the history of television.”
Cox also spoke to Variety about being a part of Friends, “‘Friends’ taught me the importance of camaraderie and really sticking together.” She added, “These friendships were at the most important time in my life, and we went through so many things together,” she said. “And it just taught me about being there for each other — I know, that’s the song, ‘I’ll be there for you.’ But it’s true.”
While giving her acceptance speech for her star, the Friends actress also gave a special shout-out to her boyfriend McDaid and daughter Coco. "I'm still in the process of working on my longest and most important projects," she began, thanking McDaid "for teaching me to be a better person." She added, "And thank you, Coco, for reminding me every day that I'm not," per PEOPLE.
