Appearing on the podcast 'Why Won't You Date Me?' Trainor's brother, Ryan, revealed that his sister has two toilets installed in the bathroom so she and her partner can go together.
When you're in love, spending every moment with your partner seems more like a requirement than a need. Singer Meghan Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara certainly feel that way. The All About That Bass artist has an interesting his-and-hers object in their household and no it's not a mug set or matching Christmas sweaters. Appearing on the podcast Why Won't You Date Me? Trainor's brother, Ryan, revealed that his sister has two toilets installed in the bathroom so she and her partner can go together. Ryan made the revelation while telling show's host Nicole Byer that he wants a relationship that is different from the one his sister shares with her Spy Kids star husband, according to TODAY.
"You guys are weirdos, bro," expressed Ryan for whom their relationship is just too close for comfort. "They poop together! She's pooping and Daryl's like, 'I'm going to go hang out with you now!'" he explained. Looks like Trainor's and Sabara have taken their relationship to a whole new level of intimacy. And maybe, just maybe, couples who poop together stay together, I guess. After Ryan spilled the beans, the 27-year-old cleared that she's not a fan of using the toilet in public and prefers having Sabara block the door while she's inside.
The artist went on to reveal that their body schedules are so synched up that they just decided to have two toilets installed side by side in their bathroom to have the option of going together if need be. Their 7-month-old son, Riley, is partly the reason for this choice. "We just got a new house and we did construction — nobody knows this — but in our bathroom, there was one toilet," she explained. "A lot of times in the middle of the night when we're with the baby, we gotta pee at the same time. So I was like, 'Can we please have two toilets next to each other?'"
Thus, they called their contractor and had another toilet installed which they "often" use together. However, Trainor noted that she and her partner have only "pooped together twice." After the news went viral, she took to Twitter and clarified her bathroom situation. "To clear things up…we pooped ONCE together and we laughed and said never again…but he will hang out with me if I’m 💩ing cuz WE SOULMATES. And I legit miss him when I’m away from him. And we pee together obvi," she wrote. While most people on Twitter were unsure about pooping with their partners, some didn't think much of it.
"Yeah, I don’t care what people do behind closed doors with each other as long as they’re happy and it’s nobody else’s business but there’s. Mind your business and let them poop together in peace if they want to," wrote one user. "This is normal couple behavior idk why everyone is so upset," shared another. There were quite a few who were straight out offended by the information, but hey it's their life and the two seem to love it. And might I add, how perfect they look together? Even their wedding was a fairytale affair that took place on December 22, 2019, after dating and being engaged for more than three years. "Every day feels like our first date," said Trainor of her husband according to PEOPLE. "He treats me like a queen. My life is like a fairy tale."
