It was a day filled with gratitude, spirituality, and love for the globally renowned family.
The definition of success is different in different people's minds. For some, it's fame and materialistic pleasure and for others, it could be peace, passion, and family. But whatever it may be, it is important to not forget who we are deep down. It is our faith in almighty that makes us feel content with whatever we have and that brings divine joy in life. Turns out, the 'it couple' David and Victoria Beckham, too, are deeply in touch with their spiritual side as recently two of their kids, Cruz, 14 and Harper, eight, got baptized in the presence of their family and friends.
The former Spice Girl posted stunning photos from the ceremony in which the kids were seen wearing their formal best attire as they stood at the top of a church aisle. And why not? Given that their mother is a world-renowned fashion designer, a special day as this calls for special and gorgeous attire.
Victoria Beckham wrote, "Proudest of days today watching Harper and Cruz being baptized in front of our friends and family," wrote the proud mum-of-four. She added, "So much to be grateful for x With love, VB x I love u @davidbeckham x." Also, "Harper Seven looked so beautiful last night kisses," Victoria wrote.
In a beautiful turn of events, the founder of Victoria's Secret revealed the godparents of the kids and they are the ones we are very familiar with. In another Instagram post, the she shared an image of her children with their godparents, who happen to include actress Eva Longoria and Marc Anthony!
"I couldn't be more proud of my children and thankful to my family, and the most wonderful Godparents 🙏🏻 We love you @evalongoria @kenpaves @marcanthony @davidgardner," she wrote.
Beckham has always been a doting and proud mother as evident from her Instagram photos. In several interviews, she had expressed her love for them by admitting that the kids are their priority. "You know, we love our family. Everything we do revolves around our family," she said. However, at the same time, they also ensure their children have a normal life, and raise them no different from other parents.
David Beckham said that they are strict parents and they want to ensure a normal upbringing for their kids. He also revealed that he understands that his kids are luckier than many others around the world and they try to inculcate gratitude and empathy in them.
"But we are very strict parents. We want to bring them up as closely as possible to how we were brought, because you have to give them manners, you have to give them boundaries and our children definitely have that," he said.
"I want my kids to be able to understand that they are very fortunate that they have that, but other kids around the world don't and I will continue to fight for that," he told HELLO! magazine. It shows that despite being fortunate and successful, the Beckham couple is grounded and in touch with the reality of the world.
