Demi Moore is feeling "pure love" for her baby granddaughter, Louetta, born on April 18. Rumer Willis and her longtime boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas, announced the birth of their daughter on April 25, wasting no time in revealing her first baby photo on Instagram.
"Pure love for this little birdie," Moore said in response to her daughter's Instagram announcement, per TODAY. "Louetta Isley Thomas Willis," Rumer, 34, captioned the picture. "You are pure magic," she added. "Born at home on Tuesday, April 18th. You are more than we ever dreamed of."
The blended family is overjoyed about the baby's arrival. Moore, 60, posted the message under the message of congratulations from Emma Heming Willis, the current wife of her ex-husband, Bruce Willis.
"Omg we love her so so much," Emma Heming Willis said in the comments section of the post. Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 8, are the couple's two daughters from their marriage in 2009. Moore and Bruce Willis were together from 1987 to 2000 and had three daughters: Rumer, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29. Scout Willis tweeted a screenshot of the newborn on her Instagram stories, adding, "Tweep for the perfection of my niece."
Moore has been ecstatic about the pregnancy since day one. Rumer revealed her pregnancy on Instagram in December 2022, with a photo of her baby bulge, and her mother posted the photos on her own page, commenting, "Entering my hot kooky unhinged grandma era."
Moore even held Rumer's hand every step of the way, as the Willis-Moore women banded together at Rumer's ultrasound appointment. Moore posted an Instagram photo of herself and Rumer at an ultrasound appointment. There was no doubting everyone's delight, especially when Moore made two peace signs while posing with Scout, Tallulah, and her dog Pilaf. "Saying hello to the little nibblet!!" Moore wrote alongside the photograph. "Overjoyed for you, my sweet Rumer. It's an honor to witness your journey into motherhood, and can't wait to welcome this baby into the world!"
Willis also commented on her mother's post. "So grateful for my incredible lineage of women in my family. I love you all so much. This baby is so lucky to have you guys," she wrote.
A source exclusively disclosed to Us Weekly that the Indecent Proposal actress has been anticipating the arrival of the child. "She can't wait to be a grandma and is helping Rumer get ready in all kinds of ways – figuring out the nursery, brainstorming baby names, buying her 'what to expect' type books, recommending vitamins and of course sharing her own experiences of a smooth pregnancy," the source shared.
