Demi Moore Is Honored to Call Ex Bruce Willis' Wife Emma "a Friend", Questions Why "There Is No Name for What Our Family Connection Is"

Not all relationships can see exes turn into great friends. Even rarer are instances where you adore your ex's new partner. But that's not the case for Demi Moore. The Striptease actress and Bruce Willis may have gotten divorced over 20 years ago, but the two have a great friendship. Moore is also incredibly fond of Willis' wife Emma Heming. The former couple and current couple have beautifully blended their families and continue to take time to support each other and spend time with each other. Moore and Willis are parents to daughters Rumer, 32, Scout, 29, and Tallulah, 27, while the Die Hard star also shares 8-year-old Mabel and 6-year-old Evelyn with Heming. Last year, Heming was quarantining with the couple's daughters Mabel and Evelyn while Willis was with Moore and their daughters.

If you think there's jealousy brewing between Moore and Heming, it couldn't be further from the truth. Even when Moore shares pictures of her ex spending time with the family, Heming has nothing but love for them. She often leaves sweet comments under family pictures posted on social media. Once when Moore posted a photo of her, Willis, and their daughters all wearing matching striped pajamas with Willis sitting at the back holding a huge spoon, Heming had some kind words. Moore captioned the image: "Family bonding," to which Heming left a comment: "At its finest love and miss you guys."

According to PEOPLE, Scout Willis appeared on the Dopey podcast and addressed self-isolating with her divorced parents in Idaho while Emma Heming Willis was in Los Angeles. "It’s been so funny because to me they’re just like my super f—— weird parents but to everyone else, they’re at this different level. It’s actually been really cool. My stepmom was supposed to come up here with my little sisters but my younger sister, who is now about to be [6] years old, at a park, had never gotten the talk about not f—— with hypothermic needles that she found so she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot. So my stepmom had to be in LA waiting to get the results from taking her to the doctor so my dad came up here and then travel got crazy so my stepmom stayed in LA with my little sisters."

Moore and Willis were married for 13 years and divorced in 2000. But they've always been putting family first all this time. "There's been a lot of challenges and a lot of tragedy with the pandemic, but I also think there's been a lot of gifts and blessings," Moore told Naomi Campbell on her YouTube series, No Filter with Naomi, last month as per ET Online. "I personally feel like I was really grateful for things slowing down and the time that we had. It worked out that Bruce came and spent time with us and then his current wife and their small daughters joined a little bit later when the kids were finished with school. It was really a blessing," she said of the experience. "It's everything that's come forward has allowed us to reevaluate what's important and what needs attention that has been overlooked and neglected. It was amazing. Our family regardless of what the shape of it is, it's important to keep together and for the little ones to feel comfortable with me and to know me so they also know their sisters better," she shared of Willis' youngest children. "It was really sweet and we did have some silly times for sure."

In an Instagram post for International Women's Day, Moore honored Willis's wife. She wrote, "@emmahemingwillis: I #SeeHer as family who I am honored to call a friend. Our children are sisters and yet there is no name for what our family connection is to one another. We are mothers united, sisters bonded on this crazy adventure of life. Emma is a beautiful mother dedicated to her family, an absolutely gorgeous woman and now she can add business entrepreneur to her resume," she added. "She carved a path quietly on her own to create @cocobabaofficial, launching the first body skincare products for woman to mother themselves! We all need that! Her drive, determination and passion is uplifting and the woman that she is absolutely inspiring." What a beautiful, mature relationship they seem to share. We love women uplifting each other, don't you?
