Duane 'Dog' Chapman Ready for Marriage Again? | New Video Shows Him Ask "Will You Marry Me" to Friend Moon Angell

In a new video that is making rounds on social media, a tearful Duane Chapman could be seen saying "I am a lot happier with her around" about Moon Angell, who is said to be his good friend.

It's been roughly 7 months since Dog the Bounty Hunter's co-star and wife Beth Chapman's passing. A lot has been said about the couple who were known to be the epitome of love and togetherness. After Beth's demise, Chapman has revealed on many occasions how much he misses his late better half and how life will never be the same without her. The couple tied the knot in May 2006 and were inseparable ever since. Duane and Beth Chapman created a legacy of their own with their show. Things looked fine until Beth was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2017. After a long and painful battle, she passed away in June 2019. Her demise left Chapman devastated, something he still struggling to overcome.

More often than not, he has opened up about life being difficult without her around. He had also confessed that there will never be another Mrs. Chapman, although his friendship with Beth's assistant Moon Angell has brought him criticism from his children who are not happy to see her trying to take their mother's place in Chapman's life. Earlier, the patriarch's daughter Lyssa, who is convinced that they are not just friends, had called them out for being inconsiderate.

Chapman, however, had defended their friendship by explaining that Moon has been a great support for him after Beth's demise and he couldn't thank her enough for being by his side during tough times. "She has just been so good to me. I’ll get really emotional and find myself getting into a dark hole and she will tell me to suck it up," Duane explained. "So it’s been good having her by my side."

While he had admitted that life will be tough without Beth, he also revealed that he is "lonely," and needs love. “I’m the kind of guy that has to have a woman around me. There will never another Mrs. Dog,” Chapman told Radar exclusively. “But I have to find a way to move on. I’m so lonely right now. I’m just really lonely.” Not just that, he recently revealed that years of expensive treatment and being a provider of 12 children has left him broke. He is also going through a serious phase of physical weakness as he is diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism which could be life-threatening.

Maybe that's why, in a new teaser from Chapman’s upcoming appearance on The Dr. Oz Show, he seems to be tearfully proposing marriage to his friend Moon Angell. “I am a lot happier with her around,” he is seen saying to Moon Angell in the short clip. And then he seems to pop THE question to her. “Moon Angell, will you marry me?” he says.

While her response is not shown in the video, she seems visibly shocked. This might look like a possible proposal but if sources are to be believed, they are not in a relationship and do not even intend to get married because there will never be another Beth for Duane.

Furthermore, this video has left his fans and admirers divided. While there are people who said that loneliness could be tough and it is OK if he decides to get remarried, some were evidently aghast to see him break his promise with Beth.
