In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dog Chapman opened up about all the buzz that has surrounded him over the last few weeks. He addressed the rumors about his affair with Moon Angell and revealed some of the conversations he had with her about Beth.

He clarified that while they were never dating, he was infatuated with Moon because she supported him after Beth's demise, but she was never interested in taking their relationship any forward than friendship. In fact, she had even told him to stop looking for love because he will never find someone who will love him as Beth did. Revealing one of their conversations that proved Moon was really trying to carry out her responsibility of a friend, he said, "She said no one will ever love you like Beth did." "You better stop looking for that because there is no woman alive that will ever love you like that," he quoted Moon.

He then explained why he found himself attracted to Moon saying he was very lonesome and it could be because "she [Moon] was very accessible" and he didn't have to tell her stories about who he is. "She knew Beth and she talked about Beth constantly," he added. He said he was "infatuated with the dream" but he later realized it was not right.

But Moon shot it down. Interestingly, he revealed that Moon never liked him as a partner. "Moon said if out of all man if I have to pick a man, there's nothing about you that I'd pick," he said.

Furthermore, he explained why he proposed to Moon on the Dr. Oz Show by saying that he did it to put an end to the rumors because he knew that she would say no. And as soon as she said no, 98% of the rumors died down, he believed. All said and done, would he have dated Beth's best friend if she was ready? He said, "Yes I would have because it was accessible where I wouldn't have to explain everything."

He continued, "Because of course when you lose a spouse man or woman, you are looking for that again. 'There's somebody that's got to' I said." But Moon, apparently, was straight forward in stopping him. "She is kinda cold-blooded. I mean, she knows how to stop me, like direct point fire."

When asked if there is a special lady in his life right now, he said, "No, no special lady right now." However, he added, "I think it's almost time where I could go out with the girl and eat and date a little if that's a date. How do you date today? I don't even know how to," he laughs.

After this interview, it is probably safe to say that Dog and Moon are not dating right now. However, he also made it clear that he is open to dating. May be only time can tell if there will be another Mrs. Chapman or not. But it is definitely not Moon Angell right now.
