Not long ago, rumors of Duane 'Dog' Chapman's alleged affair with Beth's friend and assistant Moon Angell created a massive stir among TV watchers. It not only left his fans divided, but his children also came down heavily on him for being too close to Moon Angell just months after Beth's demise. Dog's eldest daughter, Lyssa, even shamed him for allowing Moon to keep her clothes in her mother's wardrobe and alleged that he is trying to replace Beth.

While the bounty hunter had clarified that he and Moon are nothing more than friends, some of his fans and admirers refused to believe that. Finally, both he and Moon made an appearance on the Dr. Oz show together and stated that they are neither dating nor planning to get married right now, but one day if circumstances are favorable they might think about their union.

The last few months have been rough on him as he admitted to suffering both personally and professionally. But the one thing that he has been repeatedly saying is that he could never give Beth's place in his life to someone else. "Moon has been a family friend to Beth and Dog for years. Since Beth’s death, she has stepped in to help Dog in his time of need. There will never be another Beth," PEOPLE quoted a source close to the Chapman family.

“What deal we said is I will never take ‘Beth’ off my chest, I have her name here. And I will never get married,” Dog revealed to PEOPLE.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dog Chapman opened up about Beth, first time after the rumor storm. As he talked about the days Beth and he worked together on their show, tears filled up in his eyes and he revealed that time has not healed him. "You still miss her so much, don't you?" asked the interviewer, to which Dog said, "Oh yes, I still miss her."

He went on to say, "It's eight months, that's the worst part, it seems like yesterday. And they say time heals all wounds. No, it don't."

The interviewer asked again, "What do you miss most about Beth?" And he replied, "Her comments, her touch, her smell, her encouragement... her teasing me." He added, "She was the glue that held my family together. So now I've got to redo it and restaple everybody. We're all kind of brawling right now."

Speaking of the Chapman family, Lyssa and the other kids of the couple might be annoyed with their father, but no one can deny that Beth is loved dearly by her family as well. Their love for their mother is why the family dispute started in the first place. In fact, Dog revealed that his girls are not OK with him having an affair because he is their dad.

Well, no family is free from disputes and clashes, but more often than not, there are certain common things that bring them all together, after all. For the Chapman family, it's their love for Beth.
