Beth Chapman had been fighting for her life for years and initially, the cancer was in remission after surgery and other treatments. However, on June 26, she lost her battle.
Bounty Hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman recently lost his wife, Beth Chapman, 51, to throat cancer. The spunky bounty hunter and mother was an inspiration to many people for her brand of tough love. She was an icon to people and they are still mourning her loss, but not more than the Chapman family. The family is still grieving and are trying to grasp at all the sweet moments they had with her.
On June 26, Dog wrote in a Tweet, "It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side." He also informed her fans recently about when and where the memorial service is going to be held.
People knew her for her bounty hunting skills and her love for her nails, but fans asked her husband to share something about her that they didn't already know. He shared a video of Beth dancing and singing with her daughter Cecily. The duo seems to be having lots of fun doing the routine to Bruno Mars' song Perm. He wanted the world to know that she was just as lighthearted as she was a tough cookie.
He posted the video and wrote, "People have asked me.. What is something fans do not know about Beth... Here you go."

Her other daughter Lyssa Chapman also shared the same video with the message, "Mom loved to sing and she loved her baby @icEciLy and she REALLY loved her some BrunoMars. Hope you see this brother. Much Aloha." While Cecily hollered to Bruno Mars, saying "you’re her fav jam."
Earlier, Lyssa shared another clip of her and her mom on the reality TV show Dog The Bounty Hunter.

She shared a photo from the funeral for Beth that took place on July 1, where we can see Dog holding the hand of one of his granddaughters as people have gathered on Waikiki Beach for remembering her together. He led the service with the traditional Hawaiian "oli" chant. After that friends and family members paddled out into the ocean in canoes to bid her goodbye.
The family has received a lot of love and support from fans since tragedy struck and they want everyone to be able to be present in these times of sadness.
"Love you all and thank you very much for the support you have been giving for Beth. We have tentatively scheduled July 13 in Denver to tuck her in, tell her goodnight, for she sleepeth. More details will follow... time, place, ect. [sic]," Dog Tweeted on July 1. One day later, he announced further details. "July 13, 2019 - Heritage Christian Center 14401 E. Exposition Avenue Aurora, Colorado 80012 - Doors open at 1:00 Service starts at 2:00," he said.
The family has been just letting the world know how much they appreciate the love from everyone. Dakota Chapman tweeted, "Thank you everyone for the support it means a lot to our family. My grandmother would be very proud to see the tremendous support and love you all have shown."
Beth's youngest daughter Bonnie is continuing to share her mother's wishes with the world. "Please help the friends of kershaw county shelter, they’ve completely full and need rescues and new homes for pets. My mom loved plum, who was adopted from a shelter like this one. Please consider bringing a new baby into your home," she said.
