Dolly Parton and Carl Dean, a country music star, have been together for more than 50 years. The couple still enjoys casual dates. In a 2016 interview with SiriusXM host Andy Cohen, Parton discussed Dean and her tradition, and her preferred dining spot during the interview will surprise you! The couple has made going to Taco Bell—which they used to frequent when they were first dating—a habit.

Parton really enjoys Taco Bell, she told TODAY. “I like soft-shell tacos,” Parton explained. “I like the others, but they fall apart so bad, especially if you’re riding around. So I always get a Taco Supreme, with the sour cream and all that, in the soft shell. I love that.”

Parton met her spouse Dean, while she was rising to fame, per PEOPLE. On Parton's first day in Nashville in 1964—when she was 18 years old—the two met in the Wishy-Washy laundromat. Dean spotted her while wandering the streets, waved at her, and they exchanged pleasantries. Everyone in the area was immediately familiar with the Grammy-winning songwriter, including Dean, who occasionally approached her. He knew he would marry Parton the moment he set eyes on her. They began a life together, and he continued to support her successful profession. Parton gushed about her loving hubby in 2015 and said that her marriage was happy. She also mentioned how different Dean and she are. "I married a good man, a guy that's completely different from me. He's not in show business."

Parton shared that she's incredibly happy with her decision not to have kids, in an interview with Billboard, per Hello!, saying, "Early on, when my husband and I were dating, and then when we got married, we just assumed we would have kids. We weren't doing anything to stop it. We thought maybe we would. We even had names if we did, but it didn't turn out that way. Now that Carl and I are older, we often say, 'Aren't you glad we didn't have kids? Now we don't have kids to worry about.'"

In October, Parton revealed that she's working on an album for Dean, as he's an avid fan of rock'n'roll. "My husband is a big hard rock 'n' roll fan, and for years I thought, 'One of these days I'd like to do an album mainly just for him, just to kind of do it,'" Parton said.

In the same interview, Parton revealed she loves spending time with her husband and doesn't like touring because she doesn't like being away from him. "I do not think I will ever tour again. I like to stay a little closer to home with my husband," she explained to the outlet. "We're getting older now, and I don't want to be gone for four or five weeks at a time. Something could happen. I would not feel right about that — if I were gone and somebody needed me."
