His daughters, Lyssa and Bonnie, came to his defense when people started berating him online for moving on already.

A few months ago, Lyssa Chapman was angry at her father for supposedly dating Beth Chapman's former assistant Moon Angell. Since then, Duane Chapman aka Dog the Bounty Hunter has cleared the air that he was never dating Angell. However, turns out he IS dating someone and now has both Lyssa and younger daughter, Bonnie's approval.

The famous bounty hunter lost his wife, Beth, to throat cancer in June 2019 and has found love again 10 months later. The 67-year-old reality star has been criticized for moving on so soon when he had promised that there would never be another Mrs. Chapman. The Chapman patriarch is reportedly dating Francie Frane, 51, a rancher from Colorado since a few months and has his family's approval.

Lyssa, who was once in the outs with her father, came around and bonded with him during his Hawaii trip. She and close family friend Rainy Robinson told The Sun that the bounty hunter is head over heels for his new lady love. Frane and he met when the latter had called her husband Bob to do some yard work at his Colorado house. She then had to tell him the unfortunate news that Bob had passed away many months before Beth. Soon, the pair began to talk on the phone and became close. They have helped each other in coping with the grief of losing their spouses, Lyssa said.

She also shared a photo of the new couple on her Instagram account, along with the caption, "How cute are these two ?! [Heart emoji]." However, after Lyssa posted the photo a lot of people criticized Duane for moving on already.

"Wow that was fast....guess he does have 5000 kids for a reason," said one person. Another added, "Wow, I guess everybody is replaceable [Broken heart emoji]." However, many followers defended the reality TV star. "Exactly how long should he be alone? Your opinion is invalid! Just because he lost his wife doesn’t mean he has to spend the rest of his life by himself. You should be so ashamed of yourself," said one.

However, more people followed up with criticism for the reality TV star. "He could of waited at least a year my goodness show some respect for his beautiful wife," one person said, while another added, "So sad for Beth. I don’t think she would be happy." One person rationalized that he wasn't breaking his promise to Beth as he wasn't getting married.

"Beth is not replaceable but Dog promised to never marry anyone so technically he isn't going against that and I'm happy for him. Beth wouldn't want him to be alone and depressed even though she may have said differently when she was alive," they said.

With the amount of criticism pouring in, Duane's biological daughter, Bonnie chipped in. "Everyone who’s judging my father should sure pray that they never have to lose their loved one and get judged for trying to fill the void. Your opinion is invalid. My mother would’ve wanted him to be happy. Now please shut up and let my dad live in peace," she wrote to hush the haters, according to Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Frane had posted the same photo on her Instagram and captioned it, "So excited for this new chapter!" She shared a photo of Duane and captioned it, "Let’s see if we can show this bounty hunting tough guy how to run some equipment, like us country folks do!!"

Meanwhile, Lyssa told The Sun about Duane and Frane's relationship in detail. "They are both so happy together and they are good for each other. Francie has been very respectful to all the kids - and to Beth's memory - and my dad is the same way with Bob and their children. They go to church three times a week and dad is trying to give up smoking - she is a good woman for my dad. He's the happiest I've seen him in a long time - he's so in love and wants to spend the rest of his life with Francie," she said.

Both of them lost their spouses to cancer and are each other's rock during this time. While that has brought them close "at the same time they are being very respectful of each other's grieving process and they're not trying to replace each other's partner." Lyssa, who is Beth's stepdaughter, said, "Beth would approve - I honestly believe that Beth sent Francie for my dad - I feel like Beth and Bob are up there watching down over them."
