Elvis Presley, the King of Rock & Roll, had scores of fans. But though his life was glamorous, he had a dark side too. A careful study of his life tells us that he reportedly exploited teenagers and young girls, according to a book.

In his book, Elvis Presley: A Southern Life, author Joel Williamson makes a revelation that Elvis Presley had girlfriends as young as 14-year-old when he was on tour at the age of 22. He wrote that the singer always had three 14-year-old girls with him on tour who were up "for pillow fights, tickling, kissing and cuddling," according to Vice.

If this wasn't enough, then the author also alleged that the singer cheated on his 15-year-old girlfriend Dixie Locke when he was 19. In 1954, he reportedly slept with a fan while he was in Lousiana and the condom broke. The very next day, he took the girl to the emergency room and left her there to get a douche, he told his friends.

In fact, all of this happened while he kept calling his then-girlfriend Dixie Locke on her phone, multiple times, in desperation. Elvis and Dixie dated between 1953 and October 1955.

The book alleges that Elvis was engaged in romantic connections with a string of underage women, including his wife Priscilla. The couple met in Bad Nauheim, Germany, during his stint in the army when Priscilla was just 14 years old.

In her memoir Elvis and Me, Priscilla wrote that Elvis did everything short of penetrative sex with her the first night they spent together and until they were married. "It was as if Priscilla's virginity was another thing that Elvis strangely and sorely needed to maintain," Williamson writes in his book.

However, when Priscilla gave birth to their daughter Lisa Marie in 1968, Presley stopped having sex with her, according to journalist Alanna Nash's book, Baby Let's Play House: Elvis and the Women Who Loved Him.

Priscilla, too, wrote in her memoir that her husband "had mentioned to me before we were married that he had never been able to make love to a woman who had a child."

The author further claimed that when Elvis' mother Gladys died in 1958, his desire for companionship in bed became stronger, per The Tribune. "There had been a river of sex before, now there was a flood," the book states, adding that the music icon always needed a woman or girl in his bed from 1958 to 1977.

The book also claims that Elvis was "obsessed with virginity," and slept with two 26-year-old self-proclaimed virgins in August 1970.

Also, when Priscilla went to Memphis to tell him she was no longer in love with him and was going her separate, Presley allegedly flew into a rage and raped her, Priscilla shared in her book. She wrote that he grabbed her and "forcefully made love" to her, saying, "This is how a real man makes love to his woman."

"Thus, the love affair between Elvis and Priscilla ended, ignominiously, with spousal rape," Williamson wrote in his book.
