The estate was left to Lisa Marie in trust when she was only nine years old after Elvis Presley's death in 1977.
The King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley's iconic estate will be going to Lisa Marie’s three daughters: Riley Keough, 33, and twins Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love, 14. Lisa Marie, the only child of the rock legend, died on January 12 after being rushed to the hospital for a cardiac arrest. She was just 54 years old at the time of her passing.
At Graceland, Lisa Marie Presley's remains will be interred close to those of her son Benjamin Keough. After her 27-year-old son's death by suicide two years ago, Lisa Marie was exceptionally taken by grief. She is survived by her three daughters who will inherit her famous father's estate in Memphis, Tennessee, a representative for Graceland confirmed to PEOPLE.
The property left behind by Elvis after his death in 1977 is now open for a variety of tours and overnight stays. The website states that the estate was left to Lisa Marie in trust when she was only nine years old. On her 25th birthday, she got her full ownership of the home in 1993 after which she formed The Elvis Presley Trust to manage the property alongside her mother, Priscilla Presley, and the National Bank of Commerce.
Lisa Marie married Michael Lockwood in 2006 with whom she had her now 14-year-old twin daughters, Harper and Finley. They separated in 2016 and finalized their divorce in 2021. The musician's older children were from her marriage to Danny Keough.
Lisa Marie's grief counselor, whom she consulted with after her son's death, recently shared about the late star's wish to become an advocate for those who are grieving. David Kessler, a friend of Presley's, described her as a "loyal daughter and devoted mother," in a tribute to the late star that he shared on Friday. Speaking of the last time he saw her, he shared, "Last weekend was so much fun and she was optimistic. Graceland was her happy place and the employees who all knew her shared that she was looking so much better. She looked more at peace and was so proud of the Elvis movie."
Lisa Marie's family announced that a public memorial service has been planned on Sunday, January 22, in Memphis, at 9:00 am on the late Elvis Presley's Graceland house's front lawn. The family, including Riley, Harper, Finley, and Priscilla, are "grateful for the support, well-wishes, and outpouring of love," which is a great honor for "their beloved" Lisa Marie, per a statement the family's representative gave to PEOPLE. "Lisa Marie's final resting place will be at Graceland, next to her beloved son Ben," a statement from her daughter Riley Keough's rep to PEOPLE said.
