How long did it take you?
We often miss out on things that are right in front of our eyes. That's because we usually take in a picture as a whole instead of each factor, but now, it's time for us to see how sharp our observational skills are.
Have you ever wondered how optical illusions work? Well, it's not that complicated.
According to the American Museum Of Natural History, "Your senses gather information and send it to your brain. But your brain does not simply receive this information—it creates your perception of the world. This means that sometimes your brain fills in gaps when there is incomplete information or creates an image that isn’t even there!"
A mind-bending illustration by Hungarian author-artist Gergely Dudás has now divided the internet because of how hard it is to solve. At first glance, it seems like several hundred mushrooms in the image, all in different shapes and sizes, but a mouse is hidden somewhere in the picture, too.

Can you spot the mouse? Look harder. Here's a small clue that might make it easier for you. It's on the bottom left of the image.
Did you find it? Are you sure that's the one?
Here's the answer:
Now that you've found it, you can't help but wonder why it took you so long to see it in the first place, isn't it?
How long did it take for you to find those tiny ears peeking out from behind the mushroom?
