Did you know that visual puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, or puzzles in general, can help you increase your memory?

We've all been in that moment where we've forgotten our friend's name, misplaced the keys, or walked into a room and wondered why we entered the room in the first place. Well, it's all because of the glitches in our brains that we term memory loss.

According to Help Guide, with age comes physiological changes in our body that cause our brain function to slow down a bit as it takes longer to learn something and recall it. We do mistake it for memory loss or worse, dementia, but the whole situation is not as serious as we assume. It's only a matter of thinking long and hard. Although these glitches are inevitable, they can be worked upon with the help of puzzles.

As per Cronicas Puzzleras, solving puzzles once in a while can help in strengthening neural connections of our brains and the generation of new ones. This, in turn, helps in increasing our thought process and mental speed.

Now, let's look at this amazing visual puzzle by Gergely Dudás. Don't go by the cuteness of the illustrations, the puzzles are really hard to solve. Take this one for example. Even though the task to find the cat among the owls seemed simple, the more you look at the image, the more impossible it seems.

Take a good look... can you see it?

The cuteness of the owls is a bit distracting, right? Yeah, we know.

Keep looking. You can do it! How about we take the challenge a notch up by setting up a timer?

Let's do this. Set a timer for 20 seconds and see if you can find the cat within that time.

The ones who took up the challenge... good job!

As for the ones who couldn't spot the little fellow, it's alright. There's always a next time.

Here's the answer:
